Vocalist Echo Breen (she/her) wrote the song like an internal conversation between her inner “good girl,” holding everything together, and the “bad girl” forced to claw her way out whenever things spiral. It’s an introspective take on the idea of making your own bed and deciding whether or not you’re gonna lie in it.

Sonically, she’s joined by guitarists DJ Rancourt and Conner William, bassist Justynn Willingham, and drummer Forest Walldorf. Together, they make ‘FOAM’ feel nostalgic without being too derivative; melodic without losing its bite; and gritty enough to remind you where they came from.

BATTLE BEAST have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘Last Goodbye’, is the brand new single from the Finnish power metal band and marks their first new music since 2022’s Circus Of Doom. The new single gives a first glimpse into the band’s upcoming new album, information of which will be unveiled in due course.

Speaking about the new single, bassist Eero Sipilä shares, “the spark for ‘Last Goodbye’ was lit in the least rock ’n roll place imaginable: a hospital. In 2020, I spent a few weeks there and met an older woman battling cancer—a fight she’d been waging on and off since 1985. It made me wonder: how much can a person take before they give up? But she never did. She kept showing up, kept pushing through the treatments, kept being around. Last Goodbye is a tribute to that human fighting spirit—the will to rise every time life knocks you down. As long as you’re breathing, you’re still in the game.”

THE PRETTY WILD have released a brand new song. The new song, titled ‘Omens,’ is the brand new single from the Las Vegas-based metalcore sister duo and follows on from their previous single, button eyes, which was released back in March.

Speaking about the new song, Jyl from the band shares, “’Omens’ is an anthem for those done performing. Our song calls out the masks we all are subconsciously conditioned to wear to survive in life and the tragic loops they lead us into. It’s about finally choosing inner truth over applause, and the painful realisation that to find true coherence, the mask must be ripped off, along with the life, lies, and illusions built around it.”
