‘Grow’ pulls something hopeful out of the mundane; leisurely but with intent. Lee’s fluid, breathy vocals exhale life into an introspective thought, but she isn’t bogged down by it.

“‘Grow’ is about the twists and turns of life,” shares Lee. “Thinking that you’re off course as life changes and goes through cycles, but learning that you’re right where you wanna be after all.”

“I was sitting on the streetcar going nowhere -I had no plans other than to leave the apartment. I saw a girl riding her bike along the waterfront, a basket of flowers hanging off her handlebarsand I thought ‘hmm… I’d like to be like that.’ She looked like she had some place to be,”Blair said about the inception of this track. Continuing, she said “’Flower Mind’ is about having strong envy for certain characters/people I encounter who seem so bright and bubbly and charismatic and charming.”
