German-based alternative outfit SEVEN BLOOD have released a brand new music video. The video, for the track ’Not Your Misery,’ is the latest single to be lifted from the band’s forthcoming debut album, Life Is Just A Phase, which is scheduled to be released in November this year via self-release. The album explores themes of survival, recovery, and emotional resilience.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Azaria Nasiri shares, “’Not Your Misery’ is a declaration of self-preservation and reclaimed power. The song captures the moment I finally drew a line between empathy and self-destruction, choosing to protect my peace instead of being pulled into someone else’s downward spiral. Here, the multi-layered growl vocal is emblematically effective, as the higher pitch is our fear and folly and the lower ones, our darkness and malice. “With the video for ‘Black Ocean’ we plunge into the abyss of our unconscious… into our shadow part, into a black-out of mental and emotional collapse.” Says vocalist Vivian Black. “The song speaks of the innermost desire to know that there can be someone to shake your hand to pull you out of this abyss, out of this black ocean. Italian symphonic metal band HYPERSONIC push their sound to new extremes with the release of their latest single ‘You Bastard’, featuring the devastating vocals of Francesco Paoli, frontman of extreme symphonic death metal titans Fleshgod Apocalypse.

Taken from the band’s acclaimed third album Kaosmogonia, ‘You Bastard’ is one of the heaviest and most emotionally charged tracks of the record. Musically, it delivers a relentless barrage of blast beats, crushing guitars, dramatic orchestration and male choir vocals recorded by the prestigious Teatro Massimo Bellini in Catania (Italy). As postmodern society crumbles, Texas four-piece Die Spitz combine their passion, friendship, identity, and artistry to fight against the inescapable decay that surrounds life on their debut album, Something to Consume, due September 12 via Third Man Records. “There’s a political side to it, but addiction and love can also be all-consuming”, Ellie Livingston says. “’Throw Yourself to the Sword’ is a high energy ode to what we want young people to feel. There’s a lot of existentialism and despair in other songs on the album that still sheath the same theme, but Throw Yourself to the Sword is the raise of optimism. Despite living in a state of mundanity or hopelessness, you can still rise up and fight the unknown, as long as you’re willing to throw yourself to it,” Ellie Livingston explains.

Coming off the recent release of their self-titled vinyl EP, much-hyped Floridian quintet Not Enough Space are now set to deliver their first-ever full-length: Weaponize Your Rage. To help promote the LP, the band have unleashed an incendiary metalcore-to-pop-blurring cut called ‘New Age Cannibal.’

The song is described by the act as one of the “most cutthroat and experimental tracks on the album.” It begins with low and trappily pitch-shifted vocals, surges into djent-pressed guitar bombast, and then ultimately finds co-vocalists Lizzie Raatma and Liv Mitchell trading off on a series of lines about “tearing through the scene” and ripping ”your fucking spine out like a flesh filet.”

“With its dramatic flair and dark undertones, we used the setting of a post-apocalyptic vibe to express the metaphor that we know we are the young, new band, with every intention to make it to the top in a dog-eat-dog industry,” the band explained in a joint statement, adding of the song’s creation, “The creative process was especially unique, as we had the opportunity to collaborate with influential producer Cameron Mizell (Memphis May Fire, Avril Lavigne), whose influence helped elevate the track to an entirely new level.”

Combining heavy melodic death metal foundations with modern textures and acidic synths, ‘Atlas’ is a crushing and introspective anthem. Calva Louise continues their frenetic vision on the explosive new single, ‘Impeccable.’ It pulls you with both hands into their complex cinematic sci-fi universe with a mesmerizing blend of punk, metal and electronica. Set in 1994, ‘Impeccable’ is a direct sequel to ‘W.T.F.’, which introduced the protagonist, Louise, who is experiencing bizarre happenings inside her home and encounters a feeling of dread signalling danger: someone is inside her house and stalking her. She catches glimpses of what has been stalking her: an uncanny version of herself, her “double.” “It is about that feeling of powerlessness that occurs when we are in situations beyond our control, ” said Jess Allanic.

Another high-energy collision of futurism, riffs, apocalyptic drums, and haunting electronics, ‘Impeccable’ continues its journey down the rabbit hole and tells the story of a young man called Jonnie, who has been deadly poisoned and has no choice but to act impeccably to survive.

“I follow you anywhere you go. Death spoke to the warrior, Who was looking for a chance. I follow you anywhere you go. He said to the abyss, On the edge of life, ” the lyrics hypnotically yearn.

“For this, he has to follow his double into another world, the Fractalworld, or death will strike him,” the band says. “Jonnie will have to quickly understand who his double is and cross over the threshold to overcome his fate. ‘Impeccable’ is the direct sequel of ‘W.T.F.’, where we meet the main character Louise and her own encounter with her double.”

HOLY WARS have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘I Feel Everything,’ is the brand new single from the Los Angeles-based alternative band and follows on from their previous single, ‘TENSION//RELEASE’, which was released in January last year.

Kat Leon shares, “’I Feel Everything’, lyrically, is about how dissociation and remaining numb for so many years since my parents’ passing could only heal so much. With the loss of my sister this past year, every pain and every emotion eventually rose to the surface.”

“We want to bring the chills factor back into our music,” guitarist and producer Nick Perez states, with Leon in agreement noting, “As a band, we have been reflecting on where we are at in our lives and the legacy we want to leave behind and I feel like we lost some of that raw vulnerability of earlier material,” Leon admits, adding “But with how far we have come in our career, we can now take these themes to a broader place and show the journey of where we are at today and ultimately, the journey of life after death.”

HANABIE have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘Spicy Queen’, is the brand new single from the Japanese metalcore band and follows on from their previous single, ‘Tasty Survivor’, which was released back in February. The new single is a counterpart to the band’s 2021 track ‘WE LOVE SWEETS’.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Yukina says, “the song ‘WE LOVE SWEETS’, which we released in 2021, has become a gateway track for listeners to discover our music. It’s a very meaningful track for us. As time has passed and we have matured, we thought, ‘Let’s make a spicy version of the song!’ during our tour. Inspired by the famous Nashville Hot Chicken, we decided to create this new rendition that features a spicy and stimulating musical progression. It also has an addictive quality that will make you want to ‘eat’ (listen to) the track on repeat!”

Guitar/vocalist Matsuri shares, “this song was born during our US tour from the sudden thought, ‘let’s create a track that marks our 10th anniversary year’. It’s also the first track we crafted collaboratively as a band through constant discussions and was incredibly fun to make!! We included plenty of moments for our fans to shout along with us, designing the track with the vision that all the parts will come together during a live performance. Bassist Hettsu adds, “to celebrate our 10th anniversary year, we created this song that captures the essence of HANABIE.! It’s a track where everyone can shout together during the chorus and has parts that pay homage to our past songs. We feel it encapsulates the 10 years of HANABIE.! Listen to it a lot and let’s sing this track together at our live shows!” And drummer Chika says, “this song was created through discussions among us during our US tour and marks the milestone for the band’s 10th anniversary year! My favorite drum phrase is in the second verse, where the rhythm alternates every measure between on-beat and off-beat! Aside from the drums, I also love Matsuri’s vocal slides at the beginning of the second verse! I hope everyone will shout along with us during the chorus when we perform at live shows.”

Russian metal band Fallcie has released their latest single, ‘Taste of Blood,’ accompanied by an intense official music video. The track showcases frontwoman Maria Balyasova’s dynamic vocal range, seamlessly transitioning between aggressive growls and melodic passages.

Halestorm have unleashed the title track from their upcoming album, Everest, set for release on August 8. The anthemic song is accompanied by a music video that can be streamed below.
