The song is about a crazy night I had in New York. I left a club in a state of chaos, before long I was running through the streets of Soho and then it started to rain. I was feeling wild, my vivienne dress was soaked through, it was a main character moment and I was so here for it.”

‘Domingo’ bridges together hard-hitting elements of dance pop and Nonô’s Brazilian swag to create the perfect club heater. Latin rhythms interweave with a club-ready groove and sweet synth melodies as Nonô’s brilliant bilingual hooks steal the limelight: “You’re just my type of gringo / no you don’t speak the lingo / So I’m gon’ keep it simple”. “‘Domingo’ is about falling for a ‘gringo’ which is something I’ve done many times haha”, Nonô says of the track’s origins. “Some people believe being a gringo is a bad thing, but it really isn’t, it’s just what we call a person that is not from Latin America. In the music video, we thought it would be fun to show that there are as many types of gringos as there are of love. We created this fun bilingual tune by mixing elements of my Brazilian background with the hard-hitting beats of UK dance music.”

Speaking about the track, she says: “My One’ is a playful anthem that incorporates the Jersey Club sound. The track uses the 160 BPM tempo used in Liquid, and the prominent kick sequence that characterises the Jersey Club sound – yet ‘My One’ holds its own sonic idiosyncrasies. These include a funky bassline break alongside syncopated snares created from sampling ASMR golf swing sounds, feeding into the song’s visual theme of golf.”

Poppy’s latest solo offering ‘Luminescent’ channels colour, glitz and hedonism wrapped in nostalgia. Evoking the sounds of the classic disco club era from Studio 54, Poppy adds her modern twist to create a feel-good and bold new track to get up and dance to.

Speaking on the track, Poppy said: “’Luminescent’ is one of those feel good songs. I remember getting to the session and the three of us were listening to a load of disco tracks, as soon as we pulled up this instrumental we just got lost in it. It’s a song that’ll hopefully make you get up and dance.”
