Jersey Club queen UNIIQU3 has linked up with the DJ duo Black Caviar to drop her latest single, ‘Price Going Up’ ahead of her tour with Tinashe. Out now, the energetic dance-pop track marks the debut single from UNIIQU3’s forthcoming EP in collaboration with Black Caviar, Ramen Noodles, set for release this March. ‘Price Going Up’ follows ‘Body Moves,’ a collaboration between UNIIQU3 The Glitch Mob and Samurai Breaks, which dropped last September. Speaking on the release, UNIIQU3 said: “I’ve always have fun making music with Black Caviar. The production is filled with so much energy. Alabama’s very own princess of rap Flo Milli announces her second studio album, Fine Ho, Stay set for release via RCA Records later this summer. To coincide with the announcement, she shares the album’s first single and visual for ‘Fruit Loop.’ The hard-hitting track, produced by YoungFyre (who is known for producing her hit ‘Conceited’) exudes the unrelenting confidence that has become a Flo Milli signature. The boisterous visual is directed by Chandler Lass (Latto, Ari Lennox).

Last year, the Nashville snot-rockers Be Your Own Pet reunited for the first time in over a decade, and they spent this past March darting around SXSW with all the pent-up energy of an upstart band. And that was all in service to a good cause: Be Your Own Pet’s first new album in 15 years. The just-announced Mommy lands in August, and it reunites the band’s founding members Jemina Pearl Abegg, Jonas Stein, and Nathan Vasquez on record, alongside longtime drummer John Eatherly. “For better or worse, we all were slapped in the face that it wasn’t as easy on our own,” Stein said of BYOP’s time away. “We were all moderately successful, but nobody found that Be Your Own Pet chemistry.” They already teased the album with single ‘Hand Grenade‘ back in March, and now they’re sharing another new song, ‘Worship The Whip,’ a giddily amped-up one with a sadomasochistic bent. “‘Worship The Whip’ is about the right wing authoritarian personality,” Pearl said. “Aggressive and domineering to people who don’t think like them, while at heart being a submissive to the authority figures who use and abuse them.” Watch a video for the track below. Delilah Holliday has released a brand new track, ‘Silent Streets’. It’s taken from her forthcoming EP Invaluable Vol. 1, which is set to arrive July 7 via One Little Independent Records. “People were too scared to go out. And the streets were kind of silent still,” she says. “Nobody was really interacting. And I just thought that was a really abstract, interesting concept to put in the song and sort of make it dancey, of being too scared to mingle, but it’s a clubby track. I like the juxtaposition. This whole project really is about juxtaposition and mixing things together that don’t really go because that’s how started. It’s the spark that inspired all the other songs. Genre blending and putting pieces together that don’t quite fit.” This informed the creepy accompanying music video for the track: “For the ‘Silent Streets’ music video, me and Swarmm wanted to create an apocalyptic metaverse inspired by London, reimagined if the pandemic lasted for 20 years and how that would effect the natural phenomena around us. Which the song also touches on. We achieved this by 3D Scanning my body and inserting into the environment Swarmm created. Taylor Swift has shared a new official video for the new version of ‘Karma’ featuring Ice Spice. Swift recently dropped a new deluxe version of her 10th album Midnights, titled Midnights (Til Dawn Edition), featuring the Ice Spice remix of ‘Karma’ among other tracks. That same night, the rapper joined Swift to close out the first of multiple nights at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium for her ‘Eras’ tour. In the official video for ‘Karma’, which dropped after the performance and was directed by Swift, she appears in a host of different locations including on a yellow brick road, trapped in an hourglass and inside a lightbulb. Dorian Electra has disclosed their new single ‘Sodom & Gomorrah’. Watch the video, directed by Electra and Weston Allen, below. It follows on from Electra’s recent release, the ‘Freak Mode’ single, in April. Speaking about the song, Electra has said, “Sodom & Gomorrah is the biblical story of two cities that were so sinful that God destroyed them. The word Sodomy – derived from this story – has often been used to oppress queer people, so I wanted to reclaim it in a bratty, slutty, sexy song. Musically, I was inspired by the pop I grew up on (Britney Spears, Missy Elliot), but with a modern twist, and heavy guitars.” Electra has recently embarked on a viral marketing campaign that involved spreading posters featuring the phrase ‘I <3 SODOMY’. Pop veteran NJOMZA plays Doctor in her new music video for production led, R&B earworm, ‘Love Again’, the lead track from recently released EP, STAGES. A few months ago, the fast-rising Bronx rap star Ice Spice released her debut EP Like…?, which collected all the tracks that turned her into a viral sensation and added a few more. One of the new ones was ‘Princess Diana,’ and the fact that Ice Spice was referring to herself as Princess Diana is just awesome. Now, Ice Spice has dropped a new version of that track, and it’s got a big boost from arguably the biggest star in all of New York rap. Ice Spice knows how much a remix can help a song. Almost immediately after she released her Like…? EP, Ice Spice showed up on the PinkPantheress remix ‘Boy’s A Liar Pt. 2,’ which quickly became one of the year’s biggest hits. Nicki Minaj, fresh off of her diss track ‘Ruby Red Da Sleaze’ and her appearance on fellow young star NBA YoungBoy’s ‘WTF,’ rides RIOTUSA’s bubbly drill-pop beat with a whole lot of energy. There’s a concept behind this remix: Nicki is the queen, and Ice Spice is the princess. Sure! The relationship between the actual Queen Elizabeth and Princess Diana wasn’t all that friendly, but this one seems to be going fine, and it’s fun to hear these two together. These days, the Oakland rapper Kamaiyah is quietly but steadily cranking out new music. Last year, she came out the three EPs; the most recent, Keep It Lit, is less than a month old. Now, she’s got a new single called ‘Thru The Week,’ and it’s one more example of what she does so well. Over a classic Bay Area beat — slow digital bassline, melodic synth-whines — Kamaiyah goes into breezy singsong mode, casually flexing with an everyday sense of calm. Moni Meechi has shared a new single called ‘Like Whats Up’. Emoni Nycole Millsknown, professionally as Moni Meechi, is an American Hip Hop artist, producer, and songwriter from Raleigh, North Carolina. In her childhood, she was introduced to music by her older cousin, and since then has built a growing discography of songs that harness the bounce and stylishness of southern hip-hop. Her latest, ‘Like Whats Up’, continues this trend with its bass-heavy, sweltering sound and charming bravado. ‘Like Whats Up’ contains swelling bass and rugged synths that are locked in by an infectious drum line. Multi-talented West Coast-based rapper, poet, and singer-songwriter Bre Maa, shares the visuals for her new song ‘Breath of Fresh..’. The Jeraw Beatz-produced track is a smooth fusion of soul and jazz with boom-bap aesthetics underpinned with introspective lyricism. Over the solemn textures, warm basslines and head-nodding drum grooves, Bre takes time to realign with her inner self while dropping some gems for listeners to rock with. Armenia based artist Brunette has quite a story to tell in her songs. From ‘Gisher’ to ‘Smoke Break’ Brunette encapsulates us, the listeners in her world of smooth and gentle contemplations and thoughts about life, coming of age, love and loss. 

Strongly defined Armenian culture in her lyrics is seen throughout the use of references to Armenian euphemisms and lyrics in her songs. 

Brunette’s release  ‘Gisher’ is about a being the night to her lover, who is the Moon. The love lyric ballad with hip-hip verses, the song travels us one a seductive journey through a car ride with Brunette across a Yerevan at night. 

This theme continues in ‘Smoke Break’, which is almost like the second chapter to ‘Gisher’, the continuation of the relationship and conversation with her lover. 

Brunette is represented by Armenian based producer Nare Manukian. The female duo collaborates together on Brunette’s tracks and artistic vision. 

‘Bac Kapuyt Achqerd’ is the latest release by the singer-songwriter. The song starts with an emotional chorus, which dives into the verse, full of guitar notes and storytelling. With the hypnotic vocals and long lingering “How do I wait, one night, without you, close my eyes, to just wait”, we are diving into the atmosphere of the song, an in-depth journey of the girl’s dream. 

The literal translation of the song is “Revealing Blue Eyes”.  She compares the eyes to the ocean, sea, where the eyes dive her to. 

Brunette premiered the song on The International Coca Cola Music Festival in Yerevan, Armenia, which took place in September last year. 

Following the debut, the release has been at the most successful release of the singer as of today, leading the Apple Music Armenia chart. 

While we are still getting introduced to the Pop music scene in Caucasus, we can with no doubt say that Brunette has defined what modern Armenian pop is.

British-Ghanaian rapper ShaSimone trades in an exuberant form of confidence. Just this year she has mixed party-starting afrobeats and classic hip-hop on her Simma Down EP as well as turning the BPM way up and jumping on jungle producer Clipz’s ‘No Time’ alongside Beenie Man. Across genres she always appears unflappable, always ready to get her bars off and keep building her name higher and higher. Her ‘Top 5’ video, then, resembles something of a victory lap.
