Leah Wilcox

Midland’s own Leah Wilcox is a gritty, romantic glitterball of a songwriter. With an undeniable sense of fun and quirk, her heartfelt lyrics share songs of love and the female experience in her unique Indie Pop-rock style. Starting at open mics at 15, Leah began borrowing equipment from school for pub gigs until she could buy her first acoustic guitar. Now, at 20, Leah has developed a reputation as a rising talent through her live performances encapsulating the mix of vulnerability and eccentricity she brings to music.

Growing up climbing her curtains in dreams to spiral on silk like P!NK in concert, her hazy sound draws on 70s sounds and Americana to share her journey, as a musician and through life. Alongside her sparkling band, expect a set with edge, dashes of choreography, elegance, and energy. FFO: Fleetwood Mac, CMAT, Big Thief, Bess Atwell, Slow Pulp, Wunderhorse.

“I wrap my hands around my own throat when I think of you”… An opening line hinting at auto-eroticism, ‘the sofa song’ speaks of the suffocating nature of dealing with love and heartache alone. Diving into a Countrygaze-pop reverie, Leah discusses the physical and emotional furniture leftover after a breakup. ‘The Sofa song’ is the 2nd release of her debut EP I don’t do casual.

Local Rainbow

Welsh pop artist Local Rainbow returns with her new single ‘How will I Know’. She has a fresh new sound inspired by the 80s and artists like Cyndi Lauper and Madonna. But with a modern twist like hit artist Chappell Roan. Local Rainbow has succeeded in making a song that captures the 80s feels but also so much emotion as she sings about her experiences falling in love with a girl she can’t have.

She explains: “The song discusses the journey of having a crush that becomes toxic that you start imagining an entire relationship with that person. It’s a fun but sad emotional journey of a song. I took a lot of inspiration from Chappell Roan for this track too! I had so much fun discussing my queer experience of falling in love with a girl again through this track.”

Lena Morris

Lena Morris is an independent singer-songwriter and bassist with a strong, distinctive artistic identity rooted in blues-rock. Of French and mixed heritage, she was born in Brussels and raised in Hong Kong. She began her musical career in England before moving to Paris a few years ago, where she is now developing a resolutely international project.

With ‘Red’, Lena Morris delivers a blazing track that captures the moment when the flame is reignited after a long period of stillness. The song portrays that exhilarating vertigo, that spark of desire and energy that restores faith, confidence, and vitality for days on end.

Driven by an irresistibly funky bassline, ‘Red’ draws on the roots of the blues and rises through a vibrant soul voice that conveys the full emotional power of the track. The organ wraps the listener in a warm glow, while the guitars inject liberating energy, and the drums pulse with a nervous, contagious intensity—giving the song its powerful groove and irresistible momentum.

Bianca Nisha

Bianca Nisha is the solo project of Danish singer, songwriter, composer, and producer Ea Philippa Tange. Bianca Nisha’s music blends intimate, vocal-driven pop with atmospheric, textured arrangements. Cello lines often take unconventional, rhythmic roles, with piano weaving subtly through the songs. Drawing inspiration from Tori Amos, Kate Bush, Billie Eilish, Agnes Obel, and Björk, she writes, arranges, and produces her own songs, creating a cinematic, highly personal sound.

Bianca Nisha releases ‘River’–an intense and captivating pop song that balances life’s weight with an almost otherworldly beauty. “’River’ is about being drawn to something destructive–and the feeling of losing control, as if the current carries you forward whether you want it or not,” says Bianca Nisha. The track blends her signature sound with cellos that almost sound like synthesizers, forming a pulsing foundation, while the chorus erupts in raw, wild harmonies. The result is a cinematic pop song that sweeps listeners along and leaves a lasting impression.

Anna Dine

Meet Anna Dine, dream pop songstress with a cynicism showered in glittering synths and lush harmonies. The Sydney artist tackles topics like body image and grieving wrapped in a shimmering indie pop package inspired by Clairo, Benee and Last Dinosaurs.

‘kind 2 me’ is Anna Dine’s debut single. The track made waves by winning the prestigious Sonora Song Competition in 2025 which fully sponsored the creation of the song. ‘kind 2 me’ is a song that punches you in the gut- it’s a song for anyone who has been deprived of the bare minimum, invalidated and ruthlessly gaslit. The track combines lyrical drama with lush synth production to illuminate the powerlessness of being enmeshed in a relationship with someone who won’t treat you with basic dignity.

Vocalist Kelly Barber says the song “was written about what it feels like to lose control of your life to anxiety and ultimately end up sabotaging your recovery by engaging in destructive behaviors.”

Josephine Genais

Emerging indie-pop artist Josephine Genais has released her debut single, ‘Heaven on a Sunday’.

‘Heaven on a Sunday’ sees Genais unveiling her very own world of modern mythologies. Her lyrics are diaristic and cutting, capturing the sweet ache of youth with honesty and wit. In her anthemic debut, the singer-songwriter tells a story of faith found in the streets of a big city and of a coming of age made for two.

Emotionally potent yet effortlessly cool, it’s a cinematic and euphoric indie pop moment to soundtrack everything that glows and grows and aches. Blending witty and relatable lyricism with a fun production- ‘Bare Minimum’ is a sassy breath of fresh air into the rising pop scene. A playful reminder that doing the least isn’t cute-think girl power with a wink.
