Brooklyn rapper Lola Brooke has released a new single titled ‘No One Else’, featuring R&B artist Jeremih. The track, released via Team Eighty Productions/Arista Records, follows Brooke’s ‘Dennis Daughter (Deluxe)’ project, which was released in April. Brooke comments on the new release, saying: “With ‘No One Else’, you hear more of Lola, the lover girl. We all have feelings, and your girl is in a soft girl mood that you will hear more about with this track and maybe a few more. Going into making this track, I wanted to create something timeless with feel-good energy based on the music I listen to. I’m a rapper who loves R&B, especially the sound from the 90’s. From the special sauce, Jeremih adds to my PG-13 lyrics [laughs], there’s an element here that everyone can vibe to for cuffing season with bae, HA!” [via Dork]

DAYSH has yearned for deeper connection on her latest single, ‘IDK’. The bouncy trap-pop cut sees the London-born musician wax poetic on wanting more from her relationships, as soundtracked by propulsive snare drums and dynamic rap flows. The sound of the song itself is compelling enough, but DAYSH tops it all off with some mesmeric delivery and razor-sharp lyrical observations. Jersey Club queen UNIIQU3 has linked up with the DJ duo Black Caviar to drop her latest single, ‘Price Going Up’ ahead of her tour with Tinashe. Out now, the energetic dance-pop track marks the debut single from UNIIQU3’s forthcoming EP in collaboration with Black Caviar, Ramen Noodles, set for release this March. ‘Price Going Up’ follows ‘Body Moves,’ a collaboration between UNIIQU3 The Glitch Mob and Samurai Breaks, which dropped last September. But more music is on the way — last month, the Houston rapper told Rolling Stone how she was working on her forthcoming sophomore album — the follow-up to 2020’s Good News — which she hopes to have out this summer. The rapper Sampa The Great — who was born in Zambia, raised in Botswana, started releasing music while she lived in Australia, and recently moved back to Zambia — had her Coachella debut this month and seems destined for big things. Now, she’s released a new single, ‘Lane,’ which comes with a striking music video directed by Rochelle Rhembard and Imraan Christian, and incorporates a spoken-word piece called ‘Origin.’ The song itself is dreamy and determined and features an invigorating guest spot from Denzel Curry. “We’re not going to stay in one lane, we’re going to create multiple ones,” Sampa The Great said. “My truest self encourages me to explore different lanes, and go beyond what I think I know of myself.” [via Stereogum]
