“‘This is Ours’ is a declaration of both nostalgia and intention,” explains vocalist Anna Troxell. “As an angry teenager adrift in 90s pop music, I fell in love with hardcore because finally there was a place where I felt accepted and seen. In a time when the genre is more commercially accepted than ever, it’s important to echo back to its founding ethos of critical thinking, inclusion, and community.”
