]]> Rising indie-folk artist Ormella is back with her most anticipated release yet — ‘The Lamb and The Shepherd’ — the first single off her forthcoming EP. The soul-stirring single showcases her signature blend of raw emotion and genre-defying soundscapes. Known for her evocative storytelling and ethereal vocal delivery, Ormella continues to forge a path all her own.

A deeply personal and reflective track, ‘The Lamb and The Shepherd’ explores themes of life, legacy, and transformation. The track, produced by Grammy-award winning producer and engineer Katie May, is Ormella’s poignant meditation on what we leave behind—an invitation to imagine the beauty in what we become after we’re gone and the subtle ways we remain with those we love.

“This song is incredibly personal to me,” Ormella shares. “It represents a chapter of growth and self-reflection, and I hope it resonates with people in a meaningful way.”

‘The Lamb and The Shepherd’ will also serve as the official theme song for the upcoming short film Waiting Room starring Julian Glover and scored by Guy Chambers, set for release later this year.

“‘STICK THE KNIFE IN’ came from the voice in my heart saying; “I don’t care what he’s done I just want him back”. At the time I had to move from my heart to my head otherwise I don’t know what I would have done. My dear friend Livia O helped me piece together my sometimes scary writing and helped me make it into what is one of my favourite songs I’ve released,” says Ormella.
