‘Heretic (feat. Kim Dracula)’ marks the first new music to be released from the GRAMMY® Award-nominated Los Angeles band’s upcoming as-yet-untitled ninth album and debut for Better Noise Music.

Spanish rock band Strangers share their new visualizer video ‘Still The One’, taken from the upcoming studio album, entitled Boundless, out on August 22 via Frontiers Music Srl.

Australian heavy metal titans TEMTRIS return with the blistering new single ‘Scars Of Betrayal’, the second offering from their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Queen of Crows, due for release on August 8 via Wormholedeath.

Hamilton and Toronto-based Sumo Cyco have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called NEON VOID and will be out on October 24. The album features 12 songs, including their previously released single ‘Villains’. The band has also released a video for their new song ‘Shivers’ which was directed and produced by lead singer Skye Sweetnam.

ENEMY INSIDE have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘Innocent’, is taken from the German alternative/symphonic metal band’s brand new album, Venom, which was released back in February, via Reigning Phoenix Music. The single was previously only available as part of the physical edition of the album.

Speaking about the single, the band shares, “it’s a song about guilt, hypocrisy, and the human tendency to judge others while ignoring our own flaws. Inspired by the biblical quote ‘Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,’ it’s a reminder that before we point fingers, we should take a hard look at ourselves.”

BURNING WITCHES have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘High Priestess Of The Night,’ is taken from the Swiss heavy metal band’s upcoming new album, Inquisition, which is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Napalm Records.

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “we chose this good-vibed yet still heavy-themed, catchy mid-tempo song as a second single. This will be an ear catcher and a hip shaker for sure at live shows. This song is a must for everybody… it’s simple but it’s also the way of every metalhead. If you are a metalhead, you will like ‘High Priestess Of The Night’!”

BLACKBRIAR have released a brand new single. The new music video, for the track ‘A Last Sigh Of Bliss,’ is taken from the Dutch symphonic metal band’s upcoming album A Thousand Little Deaths, which is scheduled to be released in August this year, via Nuclear Blast Records.

Speaking about the new song, vocalist Zora Cock says, “as the scent of honeysuckle drifts into your bedroom window on a warm summer’s night, this song intoxicates you into a fever dream. Like a bee drowning in honey, you know you’ll die, and yet, you ache for nothing more. It’s a sultry, seductive, and euphoric song with heavy guitars and a chorus that makes you want to run barefoot through a moonlit field in a lace gown.”

Texan outfit Daedric have come ‘Undone,’ but that’s a good thing. The act are currently building up a clutch of pop-heavy nu-rock tunes that’ll eventually lead towards the release of their forthcoming full-length, As the Light Left. Last week they teamed up with Revolver to premiere the booming fourth single, ‘Undone,’ which arrives accompanied by a wave-rippled new music video.

The latest Daedric cut commingles deep, undulating beatwork with all-power drumming, purple-incandescent guitar melodies and the scratched-and-cooed clinic put on by vocalist Kristyn Hope.

Musically, ‘Undone’ was apparently dreamed up when band member and producer Clay Schroeder started humming a melody to himself while standing in line at the post office.

Hope tells Revolver that the lyrics somewhat connect to As the Light Left’s first single, May’s ‘Night Mother,’ and that it’s a reflective look at a toxic past relationship. It also features a subtle Star Wars reference via the line about being “carbonized in a burning shrine.”

“’Undone’ is not a song about love,” the singer explains. “It’s a song about deep regret and repeated failure to change, even when you want so badly to become a better version of yourself. Many times, the damage is irreversible.”

The music video finds Hope powerfully singing while either flanked by masked Daderic bandmates or while crooning with her head submerged in water. [via Revolver]

DEADLANDS have shared the video for the new single ‘Limbo,’ which examines the deadly sin of lust. This is founding member and frontwoman Kasey Karlsen at her most diverse yet, mixing melodic vocals with spine-chilling growls.

Regarding the single and video, she offers, “‘Limbo’ describes the story of falling in love with someone who is purely using you to satisfy their own desires. The purpose of this song is to focus on the destructive aspects of lust and how it can not only hurt someone else but also lead to self-destruction whether you’re the one with the feelings or not. We’ve all had the experience of wanting to hold onto something that feels so right, even when you know it could end badly.”

Out of the darkness and on the heels of their Mortal Deluxe Album announcement Daedric returns with ‘Night Mother’, the first single from their upcoming full-length sophomore album.

‘Night Mother’ was the first track to go into production for the sophomore album, and it set the tone in the most chaotic way possible. Creative differences, technical issues, and behind-the-scenes struggles made the process feel more like a disaster than a starting point. “It was like walking into a party, and instead of someone handing you a drink, they hit you in the mouth with a lamp,” the band recalls. But through the turmoil, they knew they had something special. Rob’s initial track idea was inspiring, and Kristyn’s vocal approach brought fresh energy to the song. The struggle was worth it—the final result was so powerful that ‘Night Mother’ became the album’s first single.

Lyrically, ‘Night Mother’ explores themes of deception, blind trust, and painful disillusionment. It tells the story of someone who placed complete faith in another, only to realize they had been manipulated. “I fully trusted you. I thought everything you wanted for me was good, that I should follow everything you say because you have all this knowledge and power and authority,” Kristyn Hope explains. The chorus delivers one of the album’s most haunting lines: “I’m so naïve I would burn in a fire if you told me to stay.”

The song balances anger toward the deceiver with an underlying sense of shame and self-blame. “It sounds like all the anger is directed at someone else, but honestly, it’s more like, ‘Damn, I was so dumb,’” the band admits. [via GRIMM Gent]

OMINOUS RUIN have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘Eternal,’ is taken from the San Francisco-based technical death metal band’s brand new album, Requiem, which was released on Friday, via Willowtip Records. The new material from the band is the first to feature new vocalist Crystal Rose.

Speaking about the song, and its accompanying new music video, the band shares, “there were a few goals behind the Eternal music video. Firstly, we wanted to capture the immense performances by all individuals, because the track is such a unique ripper, everyone has their moment to shine. Second, capitalize on the lyrical themes by capturing added strain and stress. And lastly, highlight the musical elements that we really think stand out from other bands and songs.”

Eville redefined the definition of provocative with their latest single, ‘Get with Me’. Splintering psyches with feral nu-metal volition, antagonising through teasing derision, Brighton’s rising brat metal band pulled no punches while launching an atomic attack on digitally endemic unsolicited lechery.

Produced by bassist Jude Richards, ‘Get with Me’ exhibits a gnarled atmosphere of intensity as filthy as the phenomenon that inspired the single. Giving her candied-with-feral-venom voice to the unspoken issue, Eva Sheldrake used real-life experiences to barb the protest against the lines crossed through fetid fantasy at the cost of women who dare to log in.

With basslines that rattle like rusted chains clashing with the detonations of percussion and hypersonic hooks, ‘Get with Me’ is a raw manifesto that refuses to sanitise the rage that inspired the creation of the cathartic call-out.

Eville seized the moment to forge a track straight from the heart and the gut—unapologetically honest, fiercely self-produced, and boiling with the kind of visceral intent that only comes when the artist holds every piece of the creative reins.

This single features a traditional Mongolian bowed stringed instrument called mornin khuur and khuumei (throat singing), both performed by Ulziisaikhan Khoroldamba.

SETANERA is an Italian metal band that gained a solid reputation in the past few years and now released the video of the song ‘Equilibrium’ to anticipate a new album that will be out on February 17 via Volcano Records & Promotion. Mimi Barks has released another new video from her DEADGIRL mixtape, this time for the furious ‘SAW.’ After the high production values of her last clip, for ‘ASHES,’ in which the German doom-trap queen is burned at the stake as a witch, here she’s taken a more raw, minimal, lo-fi approach. It’s no less eerie, though. “‘SAW’ marks the resistance, rage, and anger I experienced while seeking my identity and self-worth on an emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental level,” she says of the track. “Working independently on set with a micro team – just me, my videographer and his camera – it takes me back to my roots. Eramnesia are a new duo consisting of guitarist Pat Reilly and singer Aimee Zambrana, and they have shared their first-ever single, ‘Alone Under Neon Lights.’ Combining elements of Eighties goth-rock, synth-pop and glam-metal, the moody track features gigantic guitar solos, throbbing drum machine beats, and Zambana’s robust voice, which travels from an intimate croon to a powerful belt. It’s accompanying video sees the band evoke the song’s title by performing under the glow of neon lights, with scenes of Reilly’s wife dancing hypnotically in between the shots of the band. “We knew the vibe we wanted to create with this video; Dark, retro, and atmospheric with twist of sexiness,” Reilly said. “Director Eric Taylor Parker did an amazing job not only shooting with that idea in mind, but also in the editing of the video.
