Yuna Kil’s new single ‘Burn Me to the Ground’ returns to the intensity of her breakout track ‘Cycle’. Hook-heavy synth riffs, crushing guitars and relentless energy drive the song forward. It dives into the darker side of humanity: our cruelty, our hunger for validation, our willingness to step on others for power and recognition. The track is a furious anthem about destruction, both personal and collective, and a reminder that sometimes the fire comes from within.

She says, “This song is about the ugly truth I see in myself and in everyone else. We destroy, we compete, we crave attention, and deep down we know it’s never enough. Authenticity matters more to me than anything else. Every part of my songs comes from me, because they’re meant to sound like my unfiltered inner chaos.”

New single ‘wth would girls be living for?’ is a furious, sarcastic middle finger to domestic expectations. It fuses glitchy electronics, slow-burning heaviness and raw vocals.

Yuna says of the track: “The song was born out of a fight with my male roommate, who never took responsibility for anything at home because he was “too busy making music.” So was I. So I wrote this track instead. It turned into something dark, unique, experimental and dangerously addictive.”

‘wth would girls be living for?’ was written, recorded, produced and mixed by Yuna Kil at Tambourine Studios in Malmö, Sweden.

Yuna Kil is a self-made artist and producer from Sweden who makes aggressive and energetic, in-your- face electronic metal. Rage and anger is her fuel, and she creates her art from her innermost feelings using straight-forward, honest lyrics, heavy riffs and explosive productions.

Yuna Kil had this to say on the song: “’Gumdrop’ is a catchy and quirky song with influences from both nu-metal and metalcore. It’s written, recorded, produced and mixed by me in Tambourine Studios in Malmö, Sweden. The lyrics depict my lifelong mission trying to fit in with the popular kids and feeling the pressure to do things I don’t really want to do just to be accepted. It actually took me up until just a few years ago to realize that I’m an outcast and much happier just being my true weird self. And it would be really cool to inspire others to have the courage to do the same.”
