Brocarde, the gothic siren of rock and paranormal provocateur, returns with her latest single and music video, ‘Pandora’s Box,’ the follow-up to her acclaimed collaboration ‘Feed My Soul’ with Korn’s Ray Luzier.

‘Pandora’s Box’ is a sonic rebellion, a fight song laced with sarcasm, theatrical grit, and raw emotion. The music video plunges viewers into a surreal puppet show of identity and control, where Brocarde plays both marionette and master. Brocarde explains further.

“At its core, ‘Pandora’s Box’ is about being misunderstood. So often, I feel misrepresented, and this song channels that frustration into something fierce and empowering. In the video, the Puppet Master is everyone and no one. It’s that figurehead of control, whoever. I’m literally playing into its hands and becoming my own self-fulfilling prophecy.”

With haunting doll-like imagery and a twisted fairytale aesthetic, ‘Pandora’s Box’ continues Brocarde’s exploration of identity, perception, and the silent terror beneath surface perfection.

“There’s something powerful about the image of a doll, picture-perfect on the surface, but hauntingly silent underneath. And let’s face it, most dolls are terrifying!” adds Brocarde.

Chicago rockers, Ignescent, are excited to announce the release of their new studio album, Eternal, out on March 20, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl. To celebrate the announcement, the band share the new single and accompanying official video, ‘Joker’, available below.

Jennifer Benson commented: “The track is about when the people we love – or thought loved us – hurt and betray us with their words. It’s about the kind of pain that cuts deeper than we expect – when gossip, lies, or broken trust awaken something dark inside. The hurt stirs the Hyde within, and in the aftermath, we’re left feeling like fools forever believing in their love. “I’ll be a joker for you” becomes both a confession and a declaration – a raw acknowledgment of the scars left behind”.

“Driven by haunting vocals and explosive energy, the track dives into the tension between heartbreak and healing – between vengeance and grace. It’s an anthem for anyone who’s been wounded by words yet still chooses to rise”, she continued.

Marking the final step before the release of their new album X, out the same day via Rockshots Records, Secret Rule return with ‘Collapse’, a high-energy, hard-hitting modern metal anthem that blends unstoppable grooves with a sharp message about a world on the brink.

Driven by Angela Di Vincenzo’s fierce vocal performance and Andy Menario’s razor-edged production, ‘Collapse’ captures the tension between chaos and resilience, translating global turmoil into pure musical adrenaline. The track is released together with a striking official video, perfectly reflecting the song’s urgency and visual intensity.

Angela comments: “It’s the kind of song that gets your body moving while your mind wakes up. The energy is pure fire, but underneath, it’s a wake-up call about the world we’re losing.”

Andy adds: “With ‘Collapse’ I wanted a sound that could hit hard in a live show — something you feel in your chest. It’s aggressive, melodic and super jumpy… a real crowd-mover.”

German-based alternative outfit SEVEN BLOOD have released a brand new music video. The video, for the track ’Not Your Misery,’ is the latest single to be lifted from the band’s forthcoming debut album, Life Is Just A Phase, which is scheduled to be released in November this year via self-release. The album explores themes of survival, recovery, and emotional resilience.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Azaria Nasiri shares, “’Not Your Misery’ is a declaration of self-preservation and reclaimed power. The song captures the moment I finally drew a line between empathy and self-destruction, choosing to protect my peace instead of being pulled into someone else’s downward spiral. At its heart lies a painful realisation: ‘The way you hurt yourself almost killed me.’ It’s about recognising that another person’s misery can become a weapon. One that keeps you trapped in a cycle of guilt and caretaking. Not Your Misery marks my decision to step out of that role, to stop shrinking myself for someone else’s chaos, and to choose freedom, clarity, and self-respect over toxic connection.”

Conquer Divide have just revealed their latest single, ‘Bad Dreams’ featuring Michigan metalcore heroes Of Virtue. The song combines Conquer Divide’s ability to mix luscious and captivating vocals and hooks with their crushing intensity, both musically and lyrically, on this introspective slab of inner turmoil, which is complemented by Of Virtue’s vocalists Tyler Ennis and Damon Tate’s melodic turned raging contributions.

Talking about the personal tones of the song, guitarist Izzy Johnson says,”We are stoked to bring the next era of Conquer Divide with our new song ‘Bad Dreams ft Of Virtue’. Lyrically it touches on the feeling of wanting nothing more than to succeed but being sabotaged by your own thoughts. Analysis paralysis is real and creates cycles that sometimes feel unbreakable, something that we have all individually experienced. Just like our other songs ‘Paralyzed,’ ‘Pressure’ and ‘N E W H E A V E N’ (that also have introspective themes), we hope this song is something our listeners can relate to and find comfort in. Big thanks to the guys in Of Virtue who made the song come alive, we are blessed to create music alongside such talent.”

Of Virtue’s Tyler Ennis adds, “I’ve been a fan of Conquer Divide ever since I heard ‘Messy’. It’s an absolute honor being asked to bring both our bands together on their newest single and we’re excited for it to finally be released!”

Italian power/gothic metal band Risen Crow returns with their second single, ‘Believe In Me’, from the upcoming album Requiem For A Damned Love, dropping February 28 from Rockshots Records.

‘Believe In Me’ is an anthem of trust, inner turmoil, and connection, blending symphonic textures, intricate guitars, and emotive vocals. Concept-driven, haunting, and melodic, this single sets the tone for a journey through obsession, madness, and the destructive power of love. The music video delivers a cinematic experience, perfectly complementing the emotional depth of the track. Don’t miss it! Let Risen Crow take you into their world of powerful storytelling and atmospheric metal.

LA musician Madison Violett has released her powerful debut single ‘Circling.’ Madison says, “‘Circling’ is about realizing that it’s okay to acknowledge that people have hurt you, and that’s the first step to recognizing that you are above the ones who have wronged you. You are so much more than the people who have put you down- and after all, their words are just words. The fact that people are trying to bring you down confirms that they’re intimidated by your resilience and strength. What I want to convey to all my listeners is to stay strong. Keep your head up and don’t let anyone dim your flame. Don’t stop chasing what you’re after.”

Swedish hard rockers, Thundermother, are premiering a new music video for their latest single ‘Can’t Put Out the Fire’. The charismatic rock quartet is releasing their new studio album titled Dirty & Divine on February 7, 2025 via AFM Records.

In a gesture of solidarity with friends and fans in Southern California the band says: “Our hearts go out to the City of Angels. We love you Los Angeles and know you will come back stronger than ever. This song was written and recorded last year and we hope everyone can still enjoy it.”

LUNA KILLS have released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘Leech,’ is taken from the Finnish alternative metalcore band’s upcoming debut album, DEATHMATCH, which is scheduled to be released in April this year, via SharpTone Records.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Lotta Ruutiainen says, “’Leech’ is a raw depiction of battling depression and thoughts of self harm” vocalist Lotta Ruutiainen explains. “Its lyrics portray the denial and avoidance of facing the depths of the illness, even as it spirals out of control. Ultimately it conveys the painful understanding of staying in that place, where fear and self-hatred have entwined so tightly with one’s identity that they seem impossible to separate. The song was one of the last few we wrote for the album, and the music came together in a more relaxed and joyful manner than the lyrics might suggest. It’s one of those songs that came together quickly because everyone instantly connected with the melodies and rhythms and had a shared vision for it.” [via Distorted Sound]

DAWN OF OUROBOROS have announced a new album. Titled Bioluminescence, the upcoming album from the Oakland, California-based progressive black metal band is the follow-up to 2023’s Velvet Incandescence, and is scheduled to be released in March this year, via Prosthetic Records.

The upcoming album was primarily self recorded before the mixing was handled by Lewis Johns at The Ranch in Southampton, UK, and mastering by Grant Berry at Fader Mastering in Manchester, UK. Additional engineering was then completed by Nick Loiacono at Fang Studios in San Mateo, before the ethereal artwork was crafted by Alex Eckman Lawn.

Alongside the announcement of the new album, DAWN OF OUROBOROS have released a new music video for a new song lifted from the upcoming album; the title track ‘Bioluminescence.’

Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “the ocean has always been a major inspiration for us as a band, but this song is the first where we’ve directly composed something about it. Particularly, it’s about the chemical process found in many deep-sea animals called bioluminescence. We wanted the title track to be an introduction to the more adventurous vibe of the overall album. To create something that pushed ourselves into a more progressive area of our creativity, while still maintaining the emotional intensity and melodic sensibilities the represents the qualities of our music that are so important to us as a band.” [via Distorted Sound]

Deathless Legacy has released a video for ‘Miserere’, first single taken from the new album, Damnatio Aeterna, to be released on March 7 by Scarlet Records.

Directed by Frater Orion, the video translates the dark and provocative theme of the track into images: a confession turned into an obsessive and disturbing ritual, where the line between redemption and sin dissolves. With haunting atmospheres and powerful visual symbolism, the video for ‘Miserere’ offers an interpretation of the twisted relationship between sin and salvation, immersing the viewer in a cathartic experience.
Aligned, your new favorite Gothenburg-based purveyor of both earworms and riffs, is now streaming their new single ‘Elysian’. The single comes alongside a video by Linda Florin and music produced, mixed, and mastered by Jonathan Thorpenberg at Welfare Sounds.

On the single itself, Aligned offered: “‘Elysian’ is the first in a series of singles to be released during 2025 and marks a leap forward for Aligned, merging the raw intensity of metalcore with subtle touches of melodic metal and a haunting sense of melancholy.” [via Metal Injection]

German-based alternative outfit SEVEN BLOOD have released their brand new single and music video for ‘Monsters’, produced by Anfy Hartmann, mixed by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari, Holding Absence, Bury Tomorrow) and mastered by Dick Beetham. The track follows the release of their previous single ‘As We Bleed’, the cathartic ‘House ≠ Home’ and their debut release ‘Killing From The Inside’, all of which are available for streaming now.

Channelling SEVEN BLOOD’s most technical influences – notably Architects and Bring Me The Horizon – ‘Monsters’ is as heavy thematically as it is sonically. “’Monsters’ is about the demons that haunt you, and pull you down in dark moments,” vocalist Azaria Nasiri states. “It’s a song that for me is about what it means to be haunted by depression, but I think everyone will be able to relate to the monsters hiding in their own story.”

For guitarist Oli Arnold, the song strikes a particularly personal chord. “When I was about thirteen years old, my best friend died very suddenly,” he reveals. “The tragedy of that moment has shaped my life more than any other. I began suffering from panic attacks, and my parents weren’t capable of handling that situation. For a long time I didn’t feel connected to people. My childhood ended that day. It’s only now that I’m really able to begin to process that experience and to write about its impact on me.”

Nu metal from Warsaw? It’s been a while! Screeching scratches, building riffs, pissed-off raps—.bHP is back with their new single ‘Roadblock,’ and it’s pure energy to fuel your week. Two years after their self-titled album, this Warsaw band storms in, proving nu metal is still alive and kicking.

This track is a raw mix of anger and shifting dynamics, flowing like an energy drink straight into your brain. The riffs hit hard with rising aggression, while Asia’s vocals swing between melody and pure fury. Filipek and 44 tear it up on guitars, Martinez holds down the low end, and Igorek’s beats bring the punch. Bartek ties it all together with sharp, screeching scratches that give the sound that nostalgic nu metal edge.

The lyrics? Dirty, honest, and straight to the point: “There is a roadblock and we cannot solve it / It goes all the way down the road, pointless.” It’s a song about frustration—hitting walls that keep you from moving forward—but also about not backing down. It channels rage with a mix of self-awareness and brutal truth. [via Idioteq]

Not Enough Space‘s new track ‘Solace In Silence’ tackles themes of mental health, suicide awareness and coping with loss.

Explaining more about how these issues are revealed in the song, the band have shared: “‘Solace In Silence’ is a song dedicated to mental health, suicide awareness and the lasting impact on loved ones. The lyrical content explores the concept of losing yourself and wanting the voices in your head to silence themselves. Hence the title, ‘Solace In Silence.’ The track explores the aftermath of losing a loved one to suicide and the dangers of alcoholism as a means to cope with loss.” [via Rock Sound]

KNIFE BRIDE have released a razor-sharp-edged new single. ‘MELANCHOLIA’ is out now and, as vocalist Mollie Clack says, “This song is about the disconnect we have in certain relationships. How we are all desperate to love and be loved, yearning to be seen and understood, always falling short of expectations and expelling too much sacred energy.” That yearning really comes through in Clack’s powerful, emotive vocal, which spearheads the track alongside some absolutely critical riffs from guitarist Sean Windle and bassist Craig Glynn, all powered along by drummer Sean Millsopp’s tightly-wound beats.

ALTERIUM have released a brand new song. The new song, titled ‘Hear My Voice’, is the brand new single from the Italian power metal band and follows on from their debut album, Of War And Flames, which was released back in March, via AFM Records. Speaking about the new song, vocalist Nicoletta Rosellini says, “after the release of our debut album, we were blown away by the incredible feedback from fans and the press. Inspired by this support, we decided to release a new song as a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to everyone who believed in us. Hear My Voice is a deeply personal song that helped me move on from the past and strive for better. Packed with catchy synths, powerful guitars, and a sing-along chorus, it’s a must-hear for any power metal fan.” [via Distorted Sound]

ALUNAH have announced a new album. Titled Fever Dream, the upcoming album from the Birmingham-based doom band is the follow-up to 2022’s Strange Machine, and is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Heavy Psych Sounds. The upcoming album was produced by Chris Fielding [ELECTRIC WIZARD, CONAN] and features artwork by Stefán Ari [THE VINTAGE CARAVAN]. The album was recorded during the winter of 2024, the atmosphere of the historic Foel Studio allows the groove to flow alongside riff, heft and melody in equal measure. Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band have released a new song lifted from the upcoming album; ‘Never Too Late’. The new song was first premiered via The Obelisk and features a guest vocal appearance from Francis Toboisky from WUCAN. Speaking about the new song, the band shares, “’Never Too Late’ combines the bones of an idea we came up with right at the start of the writing process for the album, along with fresh inspiration that happened once in the recording studio. Fran from WUCAN graciously added her vocal lines to help surpass our initial vision, so turn it up loud and enjoy.” [via Distorted Sound]

SEVEN BLOOD have released a new music video, The new music video, for the track ‘Killing From The Inside’, is the debut single from the German alternative band. The debut single was produced by Anfy Hartmann, mixed by Dan Weller [ENTER SHIKARI, HOLDING ABSENCE, BURY TOMORROW] and mastered by Dick Beetham. The debut single is based on the experience of witnessing sociopathic behaviour in other people and, in doing so, making vocalist Azaria Nasiri question her own actions, too. ‘Killing From The Inside’s naked openness is apparent from its opening moments, which find Azaria singing: “I hate myself / Confused as hell / Don’t know where it came from / Or, in fact, where it will go.” Those words had begun life a full year before, not even as lyrics but as a pure expression of emotion written in private journals revealing Azaria’s state of mind. “It was tough for me, for sure,” she says about opening up in such a way to new bandmates in their very first practice. “But I felt safe and supported, too.” [via Distorted Sound]

Emotionally charged band OCEANDVST have made a name for themselves with their brutally honest tracks. Their latest offering: ‘Dead End Hope,’ is no different. It combines influences from emo legends like Paramore and My Chemical Romance with the heavier tones of Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens, creating an immersive experience for listeners.
CHARLOTTE WESSELS has released a new music video. The new music video, for the track ‘Chasing Sunsets’, is taken from the former DELAIN vocalist’s upcoming new album, The Obsession, which is scheduled to be released in September this year, via Napalm Records. Speaking about the new song and its accompanying music video, Wessels shares, “when I released the initial version of ‘Chasing Sunsets’ on Patreon, it was an instant favourite, and it grew so much since then as we worked on it for the album, I can’t wait to share this track with the world! There’s an underlying theme of self-preservation and greed in the song that we visualized in the music video. I’ve never felt so much like we’re living in the Hunger Games where parts of the world continue lavish lifestyles while others suffer complete devastation. We worked with this theme in the music video through an artificial beautiful landscape and styling, all staged in a barren space with burning trees.” [via Distorted Sound]

REDHOOK have released a brand new song. The new song, titled ‘Cannibal’, is the brand new single from the Australian alternative rock band and follows on from their previous singles, ‘Breaking Up With’ and ‘Scream 2’, which were released earlier this year. The new song was produced by Stevie Knight [STAND ATLANTIC] and mixed by James Paul Wisner [UNDEROATH, PARAMORE] and sees a guest appearance from Melbourne metalcore band ALPHA WOLF. Speaking about the new song, vocalist Emmy Mack shares, “I wanted to write a song that felt like NINE INCH NAILS meets WAP. An empowering metal anthem that would help me smash some of the stigma and shame around sex that I felt for a long time after surviving SA. Consensual sex is one of the most awesome things in the world! And we’re beyond grateful to the legends in ALPHA WOLF for backing this vision, for helping us inject more sexual liberation into the world of heavy music, and above all, for conspiring with us to create a horny metal song about oral sex that people can fuck to.” [via Distorted Sound]
