Amelie Sampson

Amelie Simpson is a Canadian pop singer songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her latest single ‘Our Funeral’ was written as a project for her songwriting class when attending the Belmont University songwriting program in Nashville. For this single, she personally tracked and composed all orchestral tracks on violin, while working with Hunter West (producer.) This past November, Amelie made her Grand Ole Opry debut.

TheBabeGabe

TheBabeGabe is a multi genre artist based out of Kansas City, MO that’s bringing a new and fresh sound to the scene. After leaving the alt-rap trio BLACKSTARKIDS, Gabe has since then released two solo tapes HONEYPOP & HONEYPOP: Reloaded. Each tape has its own unique sound but still perfectly fall into line with each other. HONEYPOP brings hard raps and smooth R&B, while HONEYPOP: Reloaded brings a much more upbeat electronic dance feel to the table. Her energy is infectious on both tapes, and you won’t want to be the one standing in her way.

‘EAT BITCHES UP’ was the first single off HONEYPOP: Reloaded produced by The Human. “It’s one of my favorite songs I’ve written because it has this certain confidence to it, that instantly hits you once the lyrics start”, says Gabe. “Working with The Human (TyFaizon & Medici) is always such a fun time because they trust me with all my ideas and that’s how you get such a fun song like this one. I feel like this specific song sums up HONEYPOP: Reloaded as whole, which is why we chose it as the first single.”

Catherine Glasgow

Catherine Glasgow is a Nashville based singer-songwriter, originally from New Smyrna Beach, Florida. She sang and took piano lessons growing up and started writing songs as a teenager. She moved to Los Angeles after university to introduce herself to the creative industries, and there she rediscovered her love for songwriting.

Having grown up traveling and being exposed to many different cultures, and with parents who introduced her to the popular music of the 60s-80s, Catherine has a very diverse taste in music with a deep appreciation for various genres and styles. Now, Catherine wants to continue to experiment with writing and releasing her original music to spread joy and inspire others to go after their dreams. 

Late last year she released her single ‘Can’t Shake This Feeling’ which she wrote about stepping into her calling as a musician. It is a dream pop/alt pop piece that pulls sonic inspiration from Lana Del Rey, Enya, Aurora, and Glass Animals. 

s a u e r

s a u e r is the solo project of Toronto-based cellist and multi-instrumentalist Jillian Sauerteig which seeks to condense conflicting, often nuanced feelings into compact, bite-sized pop songs. A life-long classically-trained cellist, active collaborator and string arranger, s a u e r is Jill’s way of telling new stories through songwriting that still incorporates her language and scope as a string player.

As a self-proclaimed “cinematic sad girl”, s a u e r always aims to deliver on dense but spacious sound scapes, bold themes told through subdued poetry, and universal stories that feel classic and new all at once: the aim is simple, sweet and sauer. This is showcased in her single ‘Cold Call’.

“‘Cold Call’ is a song about shooting your shot when you feel like you’ve got a thread of something good, but everything about the situation is kind of vague and nebulous. It can be so frustrating when all of the pieces of a relationship feel like they will fit together but somehow they just don’t – in this case because of an indecisive person,” says Jillian.

“I think people can feel discouraged from taking chances when relationships are presenting as a little uncertain, but my hope with this song is that people feel empowered by the choice to make a decision and “cold call” that person regardless of what the outcome will be.”

Thee Soreheads

Thee Soreheads, Montréal’s four-piece garage outfit taking the punk scene by storm, release their explosive highly anticipated debut EP I’m Not Your Fucking Sex Doll via Outhouse Records.

Thee Soreheads are a dynamic feminist punk band that has been unapologetically shaking up the music scene with their raw sound and powerful message. Formed in 2023, the band draws inspiration from iconic acts like Bikini Kill, Dead Kennedys and Amyl and the Sniffers, combining fierce riffs with incisive lyrics that challenge societal norms and advocate for gender equality.

“The goal we wanted to achieve on this EP was to be able to portray the chaos of our live shows sonically, while still handling the feminist subject matter and difficult topics with care and precision. I want our lyrics to give listeners a bit of whiplash; make you laugh one moment, then think and reflect the next,” says Maria, lead singer.

FRANKLIN

Whitehorse doom duo FRANKLIN have been quietly sharpening their teeth, and now they’re ready to bite. FRANKLIN is the melodic, doomy, tension-building riff machine your nightmares have been waiting for.

Formed in the bleak heart of the pandemic by Kirsty Wells (Whitehorse, YT) and Evan Joel (Vancouver, BC), the two-piece grinds fuzz-drenched bass, raspy dual vocals, and drums that hit hard enough to make knuckles and ears bleed. It’s music that feels like the north: vast, desolate, and a little unhinged.

Their latest release, ‘Shark’, gnaws like serrated teeth in your gut and cuts straight to the neck. With its drive-y drum riffs, haunting harmonies, and gut-wrenching chorus vocals, you’re dragged through the frigid waters with barely a breath left to keep you hanging on, until its manic ending finishes the job itself.

Yinki Moonrise

Yinki Moonrise is a London-based artist, born and raised in Hong Kong, and shaped across multiple cities, including New York and London. This perspective deeply informs her songwriting and how she shows up in her artistry.

Her latest single ‘Runaway’ was written during a period of confronting inherited narratives, especially those tied to her Asian background that carries a lineage of wounded femininity. “It reflects the moment I stopped living in an old version of myself and stepped toward my truth, and what it means to reclaim my womanhood as a woman and artist of colour,” she says. Sonically, it blends atmospheric synths and grounding percussion, drawing from Lana Del Rey’s cinematic energy, Chappell Roan’s emotional intensity, and the vulnerability of SZA and Cleo Sol.

Ayka

Ayka is the moniker of the Norwegian-Turkish artist Ayça Lingaas. She has previously dabbled in an exploration of different genres, but is currently in a process of rediscovering and cultivating her old ways. A self taught five chord guitarist singing both greatly and poorly about misery and fun.

‘Let Go,’ was the second single from Ayka’s debut album Doggy Bag. The track captures the split-second tension between holding on and walking away, offering a sharp and emotionally charged preview of the sonic world she has built with her upcoming record.

Doggy Bag marks a pivotal moment for Ayka — a collection shaped by introspection, healing, creative risk-taking, and the collaborative energy of close friends and contributors. With its blend of vulnerability, wit, and raw intensity, Doggy Bag positions AYKA as a compelling new voice ready to resonate far beyond her growing fanbase.

La Leurentop

La LEURENTOP releases ‘The Darkness,’ a slow-burn, cinematic, dreamy art-pop single that moves like a mind spiraling at night.

Built around tribal percussion, warm guitar lines, and up-close, bare-throat vocals, the track holds tension through restraint rather than chasing a conventional climax. It’s minimalist but emotionally charged, with an intriguing sound design that feels both shadowy and strangely luminous, balancing groove with unease.

Lyrically, ‘The Darkness’ moves through interdependence, acceptance, and the stories we inherit from the systems we live inside and the ones we build in our own heads. It traces the moment stress slips into excess, and fear starts disguising itself as control. Instead of treating the darkness like something to run from, the song is about turning toward it and naming what’s been living under the surface, even when it’s uncomfortable.

She says of the track: “’The Darkness’ isn’t just a feeling, it’s a pattern of the mind. It’s about getting stuck in your own head. It’s that cycle where you can feel yourself overthinking, self-sabotaging, or overdoing it, trying to make sense of yourself and the world, but nothing resolves. You want acceptance, you want relief, but your mind keeps circling the same fears and pressures.”

Lauren Amour

‘The Best of Me’ is a reflective, emotionally driven pop single from Lauren Amour, written during lockdown but released as her first single of 2026.

Blending heartfelt storytelling with a polished, contemporary pop sound, the track captures the moment a relationship begins to fall apart while holding onto the belief that something beyond ourselves, whether faith, fate, or the universe, is guiding the way forward.

Honest yet uplifting, the song balances vulnerability with quiet hope, drawing comparisons to Chappell Roan, Birdy and early Adele, and marks a confident step forward in Lauren’s evolving pop sound.
