With the magical flair of a music box opening, ‘Paracosm’ begins with wintry keys, airy vocals, and an eerie hush. As the sound expands in leaps and bounds, Absolutely reflects on feeling lost in a big world, before her perspective shifts from caution to blazing curiosity, while her vocals grow from intimate to sky-high soaring: “Maybe some things are not meant to change, this life makes less sense as I age / The best pieces of me they remain, just a little bit strange.”

Speaking on the creation of the album, Absolutely explains, “I had to relearn how to create the way I did as a child — without rules, without fear. Once I tapped back into that freedom, the world of Paracosm opened up completely. I constructed all of these interesting, fun, and fantastical worlds that would make my younger self feel very happy, safe, and seen.”
