Rising star Caitlin releases her soul-steeped new single ‘Pray For Me’ via Stray Music. The new release perfectly encapsulates how Caitlin is able to bring the alchemy of her live shows to the recording studio, ahead of a short run of headline dates this November.

‘Pray For Me’ opens with the skittery menace of the hi-hat and a moody guitar line, before Caitlin makes her imperious entrance. “Better take me,” she demands, “Hands all over me/ Oh baby save me/ Now pray for me.” It’s a song that captures restlessness in motion. The track exists on a knife’s edge, as though its narrator is about to teeter into hedonistic abandon at any second.

“Especially when it comes to love and heartbreak, songwriting is where I can really express myself,” Caitlin says. “For whatever reason I keep finding myself in these situations where I’m trying to fix somebody, only I end up falling into the darkness as well.”
