Burnley-born musician, illustrator, and tattoo artist Cody Frost has dropped their new single ‘SOMETIMESICAN’TFEELATHING’.

Following the fierce punk-hyperpop blend of their previous single, ‘NATURAL SELECTION’, the track continues Cody’s genre blending journey – melding raw vulnerability with bold sonic textures. Diving deep into the complexities of mental health and emotional numbness, the track is an intimate exploration of self-medication, depression, and the hope for healing.

Speaking about the single, Cody says: “This song is about self medication, being medicated for depression and my hopes for the future. Sometimes I can’t cry when I know I should, other times I cry when I shouldn’t. Most of the statements in the song are more like wishes or manifestations than actual truths. It’s me trying to speak control, peace and resilience into existence – trying to override the numbness and chaos of something that feels like power, even if I’m not fully there yet’.
