Disgusting Sisters share their second ever single ‘TGIF’, a riotous, fun-filled weekend anthem to blow away the 9-5 cobwebs. The duo (and real life sisters) released their debut single ‘Killing It’ last year via Speedy Wunderground and have since then toured with Two Door Cinema Club and received critical support from the likes of NME and Radio 1.
On TGIF, Disgusting Sisters say – “’TGIF’ is a song about a person trapped in a dead-end 9-to-5 job, dragging themselves through the same dull routine week after week. By the time Friday hits, they’re so burnt out they morph into a completely different version of themselves -drinking, partying, blacking out, like a werewolf unleashed under a full moon. It’s wild and chaotic, but beneath the surface lies a quiet sadness: this reckless escape is the only way they know to feel alive.”
