Lawrence, KS’s Flooding, the trio fronted by Rose Brown, is excited to share the final preview of their upcoming EP, object 1, out July 11. ‘depictions of the female body,’ arrives delving into the hope of desire over sirens of feedback and driving drums. Caught in between a state of lust and hopelessness, vocalist Rose Brown sings, “i’m sick and i know it / but it’s hard letting go of it / i tried to forget her.”

“Sexual fantasies are a form of hope,” Rose Brown explains. “If you’re ever horribly depressed, you should try having a crush on someone.”
