Hannah Grae unleashes fierce new track ‘Bitch’

Port Talbot born artist Hannah Grae makes her first independent release with ‘Bitch’, an alt-pop anthem laced with nostalgic ‘90s attitude and a dreamy indie edge. ‘Bitch’ was co-written with Hunter West and produced by Dylan Bauld.

The track heralds a bold new chapter for Hannah, revealing a fearless vulnerability as she explores the messy, consuming side of jealousy. With her piercing vocals, trademark snarling hooks and razor-sharp lyrics, ‘Bitch’ blends raw emotional honesty with gritty pop intensity, delivering an unapologetic statement from one of alt-pop’s most exciting new voices.

Of the track Hannah said: “Writing ‘Bitch’ felt like the start of something new for me. For the first time I could hear the artist I wanted to be. I’m dramatic, theatrical, self-assured and self-deprecating all at once, and I’d never quite managed to weave all those parts of me into my music. Bitch was when it clicked. It’s a song about jealousy and the way I compare myself to people around me. I wanted to write a song that could dig its teeth into one of my biggest flaws and wave it around like a giant red flag. It isn’t glamorous to admit you hate someone because they have what you want, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth writing about. This song unlocked a version of me that finally feels like myself. That’s the version you’ll be hearing from now on.”
