MEI-KA is a San Francisco–born, London-based artist and recording engineer shaping a new wave of electronic pop. While completing a degree in songwriting and music production, she began working in studios across London as a recording engineer. This opened her eyes to all aspects of the music-making process.

Weaving together elements of pop, soul, and electronic production, she creates vivid soundscapes that blur genre lines while staying rooted in raw, emotional storytelling. With lush vocals, nostalgic textures, and a playful edge in her production, MEI-KA builds worlds that feel both intimate and immersive. Her music carries the pulse of the dance floor and the depth of a late-night confession: equal parts experimental and effortlessly relatable.

The third single by upcoming artist, MEI-KA, bends and blends genres of electroacoustic, indie and alternative pop. MEI-KA produces or co- produces each of songs, embedding meaning and prosody into each element of the sonic world. In her words, “’irreversibly’ is the letter I wrote but never sent. It’s an unanswerable question: how to deal with goodbyes and endings, even when we know it’s inevitable.”
