The single builds on a breakout run that has seen the Manchester trio move from cult curiosity to radio-approved disruptors without sanding down their sharp edge. If debut single ‘My Weird Appetite’ introduced the band’s woozy guitars, digitally warped production and tongue-in-cheek melodrama, it did so with immediate impact, pricking up ears across tastemaker press and radio while establishing MSSC as a band capable of turning turbulence into hook-heavy pop catharsis.

Now comes ‘Fantasy.’ “This feels like it’s got everything that made our first singles so interesting and then some,” the band say,“ with just enough finesse and polish to feel like we’ve finally got our big girl pants on. It’s just as jagged, gritty and angular in the verses but absolutely floating and heavenly in the choruses.”
