Sandhouse to release direct and energetic new single ‘Make Me Small’

Sandhouse release their new single ‘Make Me Small’ today. The track is set to build on the early excitement generated by the duo’s debut EP released earlier this year.

‘Make Me Small’ is built on a brilliantly piercing guitar line from Caspar, full of kinetic energy and combined with Anna’s beguiling vocals it has created a brilliantly instinctive feeling single, one that shows the continuous musical growth of the London duo. It was written after the band decided they wanted more energy added to their live shows and the result is a dancefloor-ready, direct single that leans into Sandhouse’s guitar influences such as Hole and Sonic Youth.

On the track Sandhouse say: “‘Make Me Small’ is about a romantic power struggle where one partner’s dominant ego always triumphs, leaving a quiet rage to build in the other, who must claim their autonomy quietly and in secret.”
