The Chelsea Curve soundtrack a needed summer escape with ‘Kindawanna’

As spring lunges into summer, one of the most fun things about the carefree and casual season is making plans and anticipating the stuff we kinda wanna do with the ones we’re crushin’ on. For The Chelsea Curve, that means popping bottles of Prosecco, taking joyrides on the Lambretta, and letting the day deliver us into a fun and adventurous world far from life’s daily reality checks.

The Boston mod-pop trio lean into this summertime escapism with a firecracker of a new single in ‘Kindawanna,’ an assertive declaration that raises a glass to the good times and the ones we love.

“It makes me ‘Kindawanna’ jump on top of a table and scream real loud!” says vocalist and bassist Linda Pardee. “It’s Chelsea 2.0 – bigger, badder, maybe even a bit goofier, too!”

“It’s an easy breezy summery luuuuv song,” Pardee admits. “Mushy, ooey gooey and giddy for sure — I’m totally owning that – but it’s a classic theme of having a hard crush. Though admittedly it is a sweet song, make no mistake — musically, the song totally kicks arse. I like to think the listener will be uplifted, and bop around with Tim’s guitar hook stuck in their head like a fish hook. But not in a gross way, of course.”
