Trailblazing musician 潘PAN (real name Pan Wei Ju) announces the release of her new album, Pan The Pansexual, the inaugural project under this moniker, from the artist formerly known as Aristophanes. Set for release on July 12 via Transgressive Records, the record boasts production from innovators Clams Casino and Bon Music Vision (Kojey Radical, Lucinda Chau, Tsunaina, Gaika), with David Wrench (Sampha, FKA Twigs, The xx) on mixing duty. With the news, 潘PAN has shared a tantalising new single and video, ‘Imperfect Poetry’, written about the strength of being vulnerable.

Speaking about the single, the Taiwanese artist explains, “It’s a monologue of a young and not so experienced witch, who doesn’t always do all her magic and alchemy right. Longing for love, she practises expressing her fear and needs through poetry, eventually turning it into spells. The bright and catchy sounds float around and lift up the message, uniting any listening soul into a groovy unity.”
