🎧 Track of the Week 🎧 Our Track of the Week is 'H 🎧 Track of the Week 🎧Our Track of the Week is 'Hell Ride', the gritty new single from rising pop artist @soniasteinmusic. The track is taken from her upcoming new EP, set for release on March 20. Catchy from the first listen, 'Hell Ride' balances crystal-clear vocals with a soaring chorus and punchy melodies - making for a track that is impossible not to replay. The track nods to the slick, melodic sensibilities of HAIM and the hook heavy sparkle of The Aces, radiating a confidence that makes you feel like you can take on the world. Shimmering guitars and crisp production set the tone from the get-go, layered beneath Sonia's glittering vocals, as she sings about the intoxicating feeling of an all encompassing, gut-wrenching love: "what you do to me should be criminal / cause life without you is one bad hell ride."Speaking on the meaning behind the single, Sonia said: "'Hell Ride' is a song that leans into the obsessive, all consuming nature of being devoted to someone past the point of it feeling healthy or normal but embracing it anyway. Thematically it feels like the big sister of 'Insatiable', but even more unhinged and self indulgent. I had such a fun time fully letting this character take over for this song, something I think younger me was always a little indignant about even though it was younger me who felt the most of this kind of emotion.
