As a fully self-taught artist, she uses her voice and songwriting as a way to channel the emotions and energy that were once holding her back.

Hera expands on the track’s creation and meaning, affirming that, “When I wrote ‘hungry lion’ it was a way for me to express myself through song, when I felt I couldn’t express myself verbally. I didn’t realise what I was going through until I put my feelings into metaphors.”
