Rising Icelandic singer-songwriter, Hera Lind, shares her stunning secondary single to date ‘hungry lion’. Further to this release, Hera has announced her debut EP to come late September 2023.

Now at 21 years old, Hera wrote ‘hungry lion’ during her later teenage years, as she was going through a tough time, feeling trapped and needing to flee the grasp of toxic people in her life. As a fully self-taught artist, she uses her voice and songwriting as a way to channel the emotions and energy that were once holding her back.

Hera expands on the track’s creation and meaning, affirming that, “When I wrote ‘hungry lion’ it was a way for me to express myself through song, when I felt I couldn’t express myself verbally. I didn’t realise what I was going through until I put my feelings into metaphors.”
