Lily Brooke

After the raw emotional weight of her debut EP Hypomaniac, North East alt-pop sensation Lily Brooke returns with a bold sonic shift – the infectiously catchy and brutally honest new single ‘Not in Love’.

Packed with biting sarcasm and summer energy, ‘Not in Love’ is a fierce, guitar-driven pop anthem taking aim at the messy, performative world of modern dating. With punchy lines like “you’re calling me baby ’cause you don’t know my name” and “you’re not in love boy, don’t pretend that I’m enough for you,” Lily lays bare the awkward reality of post-breakup hook-up culture.

Sonically, it draws inspiration from alt-pop powerhouses like Olivia Rodrigo and Maisie Peters while leaning into a sassier, rockier edge that places Lily Page Brooke firmly in the same conversation as rising artists like Chappell Roan and Lola Young.

The track marks a major evolution for Lily, swapping introspective ballads for something more danceable, tongue-in-cheek and attitude-filled – all without losing the emotional depth she’s known for. “It’s fun and upbeat on the surface,” says Lily, “but it’s also about how disillusioned I felt entering the dating world again after ten years. It’s not like the movies you watch growing up.”

Zara Chantelle

Born and raised in Adelaide, Zara was fortunate enough to grow up with music surrounding her, with her earliest memories being her sitting in front of the piano as her aunty played to the family every Christmas. Rotating through various instruments, she found her passion for singing at the age of 8 when she spontaneously sung in a year 2 talent show, a significant moment as it marked the official beginning of her musical journey.

As she worked through high school, she started doing open mics at the age of 14 with her parent’s encouragement, giving her a taste of performing in a vulnerable but welcoming setting. At the age of 15, Zara began getting local gigs around Adelaide in pubs, restaurants, and wineries, growing with confidence in each gig. Drawing from influences from artists such as Taylor Swift, Missy Higgins, Lizzy McAlpine, and Sabrina Carpenter, Zara began writing songs, incorporating catchy melodies that reflect her personal experiences. Along with her band Just Thinking, she creates heartfelt, charismatic pop-rock songs, leaving listeners deeply moved.

‘Happiness’ is a breakup anthem written to empower teenage girls who are finally choosing themselves over toxic relationships. Inspired by watching friends reclaim their happiness after toxic relationships, this song captures that post-heartbreak clarity when you realise leaving was the best thing you could’ve done. Channeling freedom, growth, and emotional rebellion — all wrapped in a catchy pop-rock vibe. “I produced it independently and recorded it in my producers studio. It’s honest, stripped back, and deeply human — perfect for listeners who crave intimacy in their music,” she says.

Gertrud Aasaroht

With her first official release, London-based singer-songwriter Gertrud Aasaroht steps boldly into the spotlight with ‘All I Want Is You’ — a sensual, magnetic debut that pulses with tension, desire, and late-night honesty.

Written entirely by Gertrud, the track captures that intoxicating moment when two people stop holding back and finally surrender to the chemistry between them. Fun, sexy, and emotionally charged, the song blends soulful R&B with 90s synth-funk, smooth grooves, and a touch of dance pop, introducing a sound that’s as fresh as it is timeless.

“’All I Want Is You’ is about letting go of control,” says Gertrud. “It’s about wanting someone so badly it becomes electric — a little vulnerable, a little dangerous, but completely irresistible.” Backed by seductive, atmospheric production, a groovy rhythm, and Gertrud’s captivating vocals, the track feels like a late-night confession wrapped in sound. With this debut, she offers more than a song — she sets the tone for an era.
