Carmon

Carmon is a neurodivergent indie-folk-pop singer-songwriter who weaves emotions into melodies with her breathless voice and heartfelt lyrics. Inspired by Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, and Olivia Rodrigo, she blends smooth, melodic tones with themes of mental health and self-reflection. Music has been her emotional outlet from a young age, helping her navigate Autism, ADHD, and Anxiety.

The title track to her new album All My Life is a heartfelt, catchy track about self-discovery and moving on after a breakup, with emotional inspiration drawn from Coldplay’s ‘Fix You.’

The full album is the soundtrack to your twenties, exploring themes from anxiety, heartbreak, self discovery and mental health. This indie-folk-pop album combines honest lyrics and rich textures.

Lulu S

Lulu is a rock lead guitarist from the UK who has been playing guitar for 15 years. After attending music college and BIMM university, as well as a songwriting course, Lulu now writes and sings her own songs. Her songwriting abilities compliment her solo shredding skills and help her create very catchy riffs and vocal melodies.

Lulu’s new song ‘I Love You’ has a sad meaning behind it. The heartbreaking song describes the frustrations of trying to save a relationship that’s clearly over, even though both people are still in love.

However, the melodies of this song are very uplifting and catchy, giving the song a unique lyrical dissonance, inspired by songs such as Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Go Your Own Way’.

Gail Silverman AKA G.

From rock edge to raw intimacy, G. reemerges with her most vulnerable release yet. Her latest single, ‘The Womb,’ continues G.’s move from her rocker-girl roots, exploring a more intimate and emotionally exposed side. It centers on the search for safety in life’s most challenging moments. Stripping it all back, G. delivers a deeply personal and immersive sonic refuge. The folk-driven track is ambient and evocative, creating a sense of being held.

The idea for the song was originally formulated in her bathtub—a place where G. finds calm, relaxation, and grounding. On one of these occasions, she began to question why the bath created such a powerful emotional environment. She realized it may be because it mirrors the womb: warm, enveloping, safely cocooned, and surrounded by love. From that moment, the concept took shape, and she immediately grabbed her phone and began writing—good thing she didn’t drop it.

Even though the concept felt slightly left of center, she knew exactly who to bring in for collaboration and production: her partner in the Mystic Femmes songwriting team, Sharon Roach. “We like to refer to each other as song sistas, and nothing is ever too weird,” Silverman says. “She’s where I take all my crazy ideas.” Roach agrees: “We just get each other when it comes to music. There’s a level of trust—nothing is too out there.”

Layla Z

Layla Z (born Allana Maria Seda, November 30, 1994) is an American rock musician, author, and former radio host. Based in Monroe, New York, she is known for her independent approach to music and for blending rock influences with personal, introspective lyrics. She characterizes her music as raw and intimate.

Her song ‘Filthy Dirt’ explores themes of revenge and women’s empowerment and is taken from her album So Deep.

Vanessa Emili

Vanessa Emili is a songwriter and composer from Italy and she has just released her debut song called ‘eiffel tower’.

Written by her in Italy and produced in Berlin by a Dutch producer she collaborated with, this track has all the ingredients to become a club classic.

The feeling she aims to create with her music evokes the atmosphere of Central/Eastern Europe—between brutalist architecture, dystopian settings, and a sense of nostalgia for distant times.

Scarlet Joy

Sophia created her alter ego Scarlet Joy in 2019, she is a songwriter, singer and guitar player, influenced by artists ranging from PJ Harvey to QOTSA, Nine Inch Nails to Florence and The Machine.

She is based in Lincoln, Lincolnshire and released her first album Mourning Pages in 2022 which lays bare the whole human condition, exploring themes of love, loss, hope and fate through it’s potent alternative rock songs.

Her new EP The Burning Days is out now. The EP was written during her early sobriety, reflecting on her addiction and her recovery. Check out stand-out track ‘Back For More’.

RUSALKA

With a background in a cappella and choir, RUSALKA – the name of which is derived from the mythological rusalki: a Slavic variation of the mythological sirens – lures us with her distinctive voice, biting lyrics and powerful production style. A private and enigmatic person, her music allows for a creative outlet where she can express her deeper emotions.

‘Babylon’ is an anthem for the victims of shame by those who lack the wisdom and maturity to confront their own sins, desires, weaknesses and failures. Branded as the “Scarlet Woman,” for centuries she has been both despised and feared for her natural power and sexuality. This is a defense of ordinary women labelled the “Whore of Babylon” for the labels thrust on her, and a defiant call to humility for the arrogant, the hubristic, the hypocrite.

Amy-Lynn Denham

Independent singer-songwriter and multi-disciplinary artist Amy-Lynn Denham releases her stirring new single, ‘Coast of You’. The track marks the second single released for her upcoming album Echoes of You.

‘Coast of You’ is a melancholic, ethereal escape into a romantic landscape marked by confusion, longing, and other-worldly elements. It captures the emotional essence of the scene’s landscape through highly reverbed guitar and dreamy synth sounds while Amy-Lynn’s vocals ebb and flow from a dreamy trance-like feeling to a powerful cry for freedom.

In her own words, Amy-Lynn says: “I wanted to really capture the emotional experience of the ‘Echoes of You’ book – the things my main characters experience as they fall in love and test the boundaries or what is real. But more than just relating to what actually happens in the book, I wanted to imagine, fully, what it would be like to experience some of what happens to the characters. ‘Coast of You’ is that experience. I also wanted to give future readers a feel for the book before it comes out. I want people to be able to dip their toe in and anticipate what is to come with the same nervous, aching excitement my characters feel as they traverse each chapter.”

Shannon Jade

Shannon Jade is an Australian poet, singer-songwriter, and environmental scientist who believes in the magic of storytelling. Her music is designed to feel like a deep breath at the end of a long day.

She has just released her new indie-folk EP Starlit Dreams. Stand out track ‘In This Light’ is a piano ballad about what it means to really be in love with someone.

Anna Jeavons

Anna Jeavons is a singer-songwriter from Adelaide, Austral. Her songs are musically simple but lyrically rich and range from humorous to heart-wrenching, exploring themes of existential angst, mental illness, loneliness and love.

Her new album Anomie is a collection of songs exploring the turbulent emotional terrain of one’s twenties. Produced by Aus emo royalty Ben Stewart (Slowly Slowly), the record is melancholic, reflective and nostalgic.

Feature track ‘A Vow’ once again shows Jeavons’ poignancy as a songwriter. A song about human complexity in how we connect, it offers unique insight into Anna’s perspective on relationships.

“I’ve always been fascinated by the ways humans operate and interact. I’m really interested in the idea of relationships as vehicles for growth and self-development.

“Our loved ones mirror our greatest weaknesses back to us. In close proximity, we cannot hide behind a mask. So, our intimate relationships are some of our greatest teachers. I wrote this song when I was single – about what I was looking for in a future relationship: to be always growing.”
