Following up her recent viral single ‘Lose the Ugly’, her latest is a vibrant offering that not only has a potent message but also stays authentic to her sound and roots. ‘Guess What’ opens with an ear-worm guitar line before heavy, crisp percussion, driving 808s, and electrifying synths drop in to build an addictive rhythm. After teasing ‘Plan B’ at Coachella 2022 and officially dropping the new track shortly after, Megan Thee Stallion’s latest hit single finally gets its own music video, along with some major high-fashion looks from Mugler. We’ve seen Megan as a Mugler muse before, as she wore the designer label to the 2022 Billboard Awards, both on the red carpet and on stage for her live performance of ‘Plan B’ and ‘Sweetest Pie.’ For the video, Megan is seen wearing multiple Mugler custo looks, including a sheer paneled bodysuit with printed jeans and a cropped blazer top, a similar bodysuit with thigh-high stockings, as well as a headpiece designed by famous milliner Stephen Jones. Doja Cat has shared the video for her new track ‘Vegas’, which she recorded for the soundtrack of Baz Luhrmann’s new Elvis Presley biopic. The footage features a cameo by Shonka Dukureh, the singer and actress who plays early rock n roll pioneer Big Mama Thornton in Elvis. Thornton’s original version of ‘Hound Dog’ is incorporated into Doja Cat’s new track, and was famously re-recorded by Presley to huge success. [via NME]

Two of rap’s fastest-rising women link up for a fiery collaboration on Lakeyah‘s ‘Mind Yo Business’ featuring Latto. The Atlanta native and the Atlanta transplant (by way of Milwaukee) display some aggressive chemistry on the fast-paced track, which finds them boasting their big-money moves while warning haters not to stick their noses where they don’t belong. In the song’s video, the two women lounge among the shrubbery in a well-manicured garden while the thirsty gardeners try to catch a glimpse of their greatness from behind the hedges. [via UPROXX]
