’19’ is the latest single from Air In The Lungs, the new project from Edinburgh-based musician Deborah Arnott.

Released today, the track is undeniably catchy. Arnott’s uplifting vocals, alongside percussion from Rich Kass, create something that vividly contrasts with the January blues. ’19’ follows previous single ‘Sweet Is The Dream.’

Her upcoming album is an atmospheric exploration into bereavement and nostalgia, covering subjects including worker’s rights, adversity and hope. Upbeat, downbeat, with swelling synths, jagged guitars and atmospheric percussion, it is unafraid to be stark and bare, yet warm and dazzling.
