ALT BLK ERA announce the new EP Our World, and share the new alt-pop single ‘Tissues’ via LAB Records.

After riding a huge wave of momentum from their critically acclaimed debut album and fresh off a major EU & UK support tour with Pendulum in 2025, the Nottingham-based duo will release their brand-new EP Our World on May 22nd, accompanied by an electrifying headline UK tour kicking off May 21st.

With their new EP Our World, sisters Nyrobi and Chaya Beckett-Messam push their genre-defying sound into bold new territory, delivering a confident and fully realised body of work that fans have been eagerly awaiting. The new single ‘Tissues’ captures this evolution perfectly, showcasing some of the duo’s most commercially minded yet emotionally resonant songwriting to date. Blending driving EDM undercurrents with the distorted guitar tones fans have come to love, the track surges forward on infectious vocal melodies and razor-sharp, punchy production, signalling a focused and forceful statement of intent from the duo.

Speaking about ‘Tissues’, Nyrobi explains: “After opening up about my hidden disability in songs like ‘Straight To Heart’ and ‘Come On Outside’ it feels like there’s no topic we should be scared of singing about.

“With all that’s going on in the world, it was good to talk about feeling overwhelmed with emotions – over a hyper/pop rock beat. The juxtaposition of it almost feels therapeutic.”

Continuing to speak about the duo’s evolution and upcoming tour, Nyrobi continue: “We’re having so much fun exploring our sound, and it feels like we’re really stepping into ourselves with every song. We’re so excited for the headline tour! We have so many things planned, and it’s going to be next-level insane. After touring with Pendulum, we feel more confident on stage. It’s definitely something to look forward to, for us and for our audience.”
