Annabelle Chairlegs, the moniker of the New Jersey-born, Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter, Lindsey Mackin, releases her new single ‘Heavy Sleeper’, the third reveal from her upcoming Ty Segall-produced album, Waking Up, due for release on 30 January 2026 via TODO.

‘Heavy Sleeper’ is a fever dream of fuzz-laden guitars and surf rock influenced textures. The track features Mackin’s powerful, grungy vocals navigating the blurred border between dreams and nightmares, accompanied by an eye-catching Colin Shields-directed music video.

Speaking of the track, Mackin says “’Heavy Sleeper’ is the nightmare that exists in and out of sleep. We are fully free in our sleep- as we also actually are when we are awake, so which is where we are? Is it a nightmare or is it a dream?”
