atmos bloom wrap difficult emotions in dreamy indie warmth on ‘It’s Enough’

London duo atmos bloom continue to blur the lines between dream pop, indie and shoegaze on ‘It’s Enough,’ a hypnotic new single taken from their forthcoming album Everythingness. While lyrically the track explores co-dependence, soft power and the pressure of living in someone else’s shadow, its lush, immersive sound offers a striking sense of lightness and release. As the band explain, “‘It’s Enough’ explores feelings around being in the shadow of someone… It explores themes of soft power and being enough for other’s demands and expectations.”

Built around a captivating motorik groove, ‘It’s Enough’ immediately settles into an effortless rhythm, with jangly, reverb-soaked guitars creating a dreamy haze that feels equal parts ’90s dream pop and shoegaze. Rather than building towards a dramatic climax, the song invites listeners to lose themselves in its warm, hypnotic atmosphere, where every element drifts naturally into the next.

Despite the weight of its subject matter, ‘It’s Enough’ radiates warmth and optimism. Its hazy textures conjure images of wildflower meadows, blue skies and golden afternoon sunshine, creating a soundscape that feels breezy, comforting and quietly uplifting. It’s another beautifully realised release from atmos bloom, proving that sometimes the gentlest songs can leave the strongest impression.
