On a wave of new wave-tinged indie-pop comes the latest from BEACH BLUE, their danceable tune ‘Turn Around’, seeing the return of vocalist Jennifer Feldwick as she joins pop veterans Rodney Fisher (Goodshirt), and Nik Brinkman (Physical, Bright Music) in this electro-driven meeting of the minds.

As a knee-jerk reaction to an ex-partner revenge-posting images in Instagram, ‘Turn Around’ confronts the all-to-familiar scenario head on, moving towards an empowered and uplifted chorus as the subject of the track rediscovers her inner confidence and emotional strength.

The first single back for BEACH BLUE since Brinkman moved to Tāmaki Makaurau sees the duo enter a new phase. What was originally an online collaboration has now evolved in person, with their EP Typing… set for release early 2023.
