Today, brilliant newcomer Bee Bran shares exceptional single ‘Oh Mother.’ The track is drenched in rich, colourful synths that just builds-and-builds around a singular, impressive voice. It’s sad yet hopeful, and altogether glorious. Speaking about the song’s recipient, Bee said “This is a song that was written for any mum who was the first friend to their daughter.” Bee will headline Next Door Records W12 on May 19 & May 21 ahead of her EP release on May 22. 

Speaking about her own meaning behind the song, Bee added “’Oh Mother’ is about leaving home and feeling confused about where home is now meant to be. It captures the nostalgia of being a child, and reflects what it’s like to miss feeling protected.”
