Danish singer, songwriter and visual artist CESIE releases her debut solo music ‘Caught In Affair’.

CESIE is the debut solo project from singer, songwriter and artist Cecilie Nørgaard. Dedicated to writing melodic tales with references to her own personal life, her clarified voice and lyrical themes explore an honest and raw perspective on simple existence.

Lyrically, ‘Caught In Affair’ could be the soundtrack to the Big Ex Escape. CESIE says, “For me, it brings out a lot of emotion and I remember being pretty outraged in a completely liberating sense when writing the song on guitar. Composing the song was like a physical reaction to a past relationship and I quickly managed to have the song finished which isn’t always given, and my mind just seemed clarified about my experience. I was simply tired of feeling like a mother or easily replaceable, in a relationship.

“I think we sometimes need a good friend in a song to support us in unhealthy relationships in particular. I hope this song can accompany a healing heart respectfully fleeing from an ill relation. A dream for the song would be if it could get broken hearts to head bang with liberation.”
