Daisy Harris turns her attention to one of the great loves of her life on ‘Spoon Song’, a warm indie-folk dedication to her rescue cat, Junebug. Following the heartache of recent single ‘This Is It’, Harris describes the track as “the sweetest and most straightforward love song on the album”, finding comfort in a relationship built on a very different kind of companionship.
Prominent acoustic guitar gives ‘Spoon Song’ its gentle sway, accompanied by twinkling percussion and subtle extra textures that gradually fill out the arrangement.
