EMEREE shares new single/video ‘Eyesore’

EMEREE returns with her sharpest single yet — ‘Eyesore’ — a sugar-coated slice of Pop revenge wrapped in addictive R&B production, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and vocals that don’t just cut — they slice clean through. ‘Eyesore’ is the anthem for anyone who’s ever dated someone who treated them horribly and just wasn’t hot enough to get away with it.

Co-written and co-produced with Christian Tjandrawinata, the track marks a new era for EMEREE — one that’s fearless, fun, and unapologetically sarcastic. Just in time for summer, her new pop era features her signature stacked harmonies, silky-smooth vocal runs, and whip-smart lyricism that combine into a glossy, venomous earworm. Think Sabrina Carpenter, RAYE and Mark Ronson all in one. “It’s petty. It’s polished. It’s the kind of revenge that smiles while it stings,” says EMEREE.

The release is paired with a killer DIY music video — literally. Complete with vintage aesthetics, 80s camp horror influences, and a narrative twist that ends in metaphorical (and maybe literal?) murder, EMEREE proves she’s as much a visual storyteller as she is a sonic force.
