Farao is the musical alias of Norwegian producer Kari Jahnsen, whose sound combines smooth 90s R&B with sensual 80s disco, ambient spiritual jazz, and layers of lush zithers to create her own sonic fantasy. Farao is back with new single ‘Dreamy Ride’, which is out now via marvaða (UK/EU) & Western Vinyl.

‘Dreamy Ride’ offers a moment of calm and closeness, a space where time slows down and the weight of the world lifts. Farao explains her inspiration; “I wrote this track when I had an intense need to show the way forward for someone I cared deeply about, who just couldn’t see it themselves. I wanted to steer them in the right direction, so if you ride with me in my 1999 Saab 9-3 I promise a smooth journey”
