Findia shares debut single ‘Orchestral’

Emerging London-based musician, singer, songwriter, and performer Findia releases her first solo music, ‘Orchestral’. It follows two vocal features on the recent Joe Goddard album Harmonics.

‘Orchestral’ is released on the esteemed Greco-Roman label, the stable that has steered Tirzah, Lou Hayter, Joe Goddard and Valentina over the years. The track serves as the perfect introduction to Findia’s world, where her powerful, soulful exhaled voice blends with intricate electronic production and contemporary dance to create immersive storytelling and vivid world-building through music.

Findia on ‘Orchestral’: “’Orchestral’ began with the lyric ‘I sang a blue sky for you in a turbulent time’. It symbolized a turning point—a sense of washing away the past and embracing a new life. The song became a cathartic journey of enduring hardship and finding strength in rebirth. It was the second song I made in the studio with Joe and Al and it happened very quickly. I love the way the percussive instruments we recorded like claves, maracas and castanets blend with the electronics from the eurorack synth and the drum machine. As the first song I wrote for this project, it feels fitting to release it as the beginning of the Findia story.”
