Cardiff based Guilty Party releases, ‘White Sands’, stripped back, crispy lo-fi surf rock, mixing wistful vocals, fuzzy melodic guitars and up-front drums, all scrappily holding it all together for the chance of a peep behind the grey curtain of modern life.
“’White Sands’ was a blast to write, record, everything,” say the band. “It’s about wanting to get your head above the waves of regularity and mundanity that your life can accidentally slip into when you’re not looking, so we made sure to do it live in the room, playing off each other and having a laugh. It also pays tribute to some of the stripped back indie bands we grew up loving, less is more, make everything sound a bit more honest and let it all hang out.”
