Jada O’Neill has lived in a variety of places, including Barbados, Antigua and Barbuda. This alongside her multicultural Caribbean upbringing has influenced her music and her roots are ever more apparent in her latest offering ‘Can I Just.’

‘Can I Just’ is an R&B infused summer bop that has a nod to a variety of different genres in its subtle production. With infectious drums, groovy bass lines and an atmospheric, impactful vocal, this ticks all the boxes for a sing-along banger. The track is produced by Maniscooler.

Speaking about the release, Jada says: “I’ve recently been really inspired by Kaytranada’s work, and wanted to make a house song. ‘Can I Just’ is my first House/R&B and I really just wanted to share the feeling of going out , seeing someone and falling in love with that person and that feeling. That urge of suspense of seeing them again.”
