The track fuses Kate’s persona with the love she has for her hometown of Maida Vale that has shaped her to who she is today.

“I grew up in West London, and I’m very passionate about where I come from,” she explains. “Since I was a little girl I’ve been going to Notting Hill Carnival, it’s very close to my heart and I felt very inspired by that when I was writing this song. It has a lot of reggae influence in the production which I love, and when I listen to it I think of Carnival.”
