Canadian punk/post-hardcore provocateurs Midnight Peg return with their blistering new single ‘Swallow’, the latest glimpse into their upcoming album Skinning. If the sustained, ambient noise that opens the record is the storm cloud, ‘Swallow’ is the lightning strike—an unflinching demolition site of hardcore breakdowns, noise-soaked haze, and lyrical gut punches.

The track’s dreamlike, dust-hung calm is obliterated by distorted chaos and rapid-fire vocals, capturing a grim portrait of emotional repression, alienation, and violent grief—moments when power and identity fracture beyond repair.
