Nat Oaks is back with a new heartfelt offering entitled ‘Retriever.’ The track showcases a more musically mature Nat Oaks, with the single coming with a well-rounded musical sound that pays homage to great influences whilst she also firmly puts down her own unique sound.

The single features a colourful melting pot of grooving drums, heartwarming synths and understated guitar lines. Her voice finds the perfect blending point between mellow and emotional, working hand in glove with well-penned lyrics.

Speaking about the track, she shares: “I wrote this song as a reflection on a lack of reciprocation in relationships, where the balance just isn’t there. I also wanted to focus on abstract imagery so that each person listening can put themselves in the song and see where they deserve more in whatever relationships they have.”
