Rosa Walton today releases new single ‘Heart To Heartbreak’, the third track taken from her debut solo album, Tell Me It’s A Dream, out on June 5 via Transgressive Records.

A mesmerising and upbeat offering, ‘Heart To Heartbreak’ explores the dizzying highs and fragile lows of modern romance, capturing the struggle of finding creative inspiration when being weighed down by emotional exhaustion. Drawing inspiration from the emotional depth of The Cure and Prefab Sprout, the track is built on gorgeous, interwoven layers of guitar and synth. These intricate elements are brought to three-dimensional life by Walton’s band, elevating the track with a powerful new sense of sonic cohesion.

“This is a song about feeling like everything in your life has shattered but realising that relationship was holding you back and the world is opening up”, Walton says. “I wanted this song to feel really visual, like things are starting to sparkle and look colourful again.”
