The roots of Safari Inn dig deep into the musical backgrounds of Lexi Clark and Jen Ahlkvist, previously known for their roles as the drummer and lead singer, respectively, in the garage rock band The Franklys. However, Safari Inn takes a different turn, embracing darker and moodier undertones anchored in a thunderous rhythm section, crunchy swirling guitars, and reverb-heavy vocals.
