Scout is haunted by the premature death of a relationship on ‘Hurt’

London-based singer, songwriter and producer Scout today shares their latest single ‘Hurt’ – it’s lifted from their forthcoming debut EP Everything Will Make Sense, due next month via Sweat Entertainment (Dolores Forever, kid apollo).

The project condenses a period of personal turmoil into a body of work spanning an eclectic range of influences and will feature previously released singles ‘Who’ and ‘The Best’. Through their cathartic lens and alternative-leaning pop soundscapes, Scout aims to be to a beacon of defiance and their own biggest champion by knowing their own worth and their power as an artist.

‘Hurt’ continues in a similar vein to Scout’s first two releases which also sees them questioning the world and the relationships surrounding them. At its core, Scout explains “‘Hurt’ is about a breakdown in communication between people leading to the premature death of a relationship ands lots of what ifs.”
