Sounds Like Lily – fronted by teenager Lily Mackay has announced her second single, the summery-vibed ‘Daydreaming’. The emerging Neo-Soul artist has taken the single from her upcoming EP and opens the track with the lyric ‘Do you ever dream?’ before conjuring up a sequence of further musings on trust, freedom and ‘the void I built inside of me’.

Lily explains: “’Daydreaming’ is actually quite a light-hearted song that asks rhetorical questions, rather than going deep. It’s more about the process of reflecting rather than any answers. There are two sides to getting perspective – if we overthink it’s all about ‘me, myself and I’ and maybe we need another person to get us out of that? Is it better to just feel free to daydream and be ok with whatever life throws at you?”
